I tried the sample because I was hoping these puzzles would be interactive for the Kindle. They are not. Puzzle makers need to make this clear in their descriptions. Since I only sampled, there is no harm, no foul here, but I can't imagine why anyone would want a kindle version of these puzzles since they are not interactive.

I love to do logic problems so I thought it was fantastic to have them on my Kindle. Well, the puzzles are great, there is even a graph, but you cannot use the graph on the Kindle. You would have to make your own on a piece of paper if you wanted to use it. Not what I expected, suggest a trial first.

This is a great set of logic puzzles. It is true as other reviewers have stated that the puzzle's diagram is not interactive on the Kindle but I don't see this as a problem. Also, if you read the introduction at the beginning of the book it gives you a link for a webpage where you can print out the diagrams that go with these puzzles. I think these are great and will be purchasing other volumes. Thanks!

I purchased this game thinking it would be like Grid Detective (the Amazon freebie), and because I'm a logic puzzle junkie. However, you can't solve the puzzle on Kindle, which is something I like about the freebie, and you can't print out the story and puzzle on one page, in case you wanted to solve it the old-fashioned way. Don't waste your time with this clunker.

I got the Grid Detective and LOVED IT! I then impulsively purchased this book and the other three volumes. BIG mistake. You have to print the grids off and there are too many "either/or" clues. Please don't waste your time or money on these books in Kindle edition. I'm glad I didn't pay more than $.99 each for them.

I purchased this to play on my Kindle while I was traveling. I was EXTREMELY disappointed that I can NOT play this on my Kindle. It should be clearly stated that this is NOT interactive with the Kindle. It requires being able to print out the grids.

I'll agree with the other two reviewers -- these aren't interactive.

However, these are good logic puzzles, of the sort where you are given a grid and a list of clues, and you must determine how everything matches up. Sample clues are....
1. Jon arrived in a Checker Cab
2. Amal, who did not arrive by Airporter Bus, arrived at 4:00 PM.
3. Either Liza or the one who used a Yellow Cab arrived at 1:00 PM and the other arrived at 2:00 PM
4. The traveler surnamed Chung, who is not Amal, arrived by Hotel Van.

All of the problems have complete solutions. So long as you have a pad of paper with you, these are all top notch logic puzzles.

I love to work logical puzzles, therefore I was excited to be able to download them to my IPAD. The book suggests downloading or printing the grids from the Puzzles by the Dozen website, however I was not able to even find the website. Permission was given for anyone that bought the book to be able to get the grids. I am very disappointed that the grids were not interactive on my IPAD. I will think twice before downloading any other logic puzzles.
