Book Description

Logic Puzzles by the Dozen has 13 puzzles per volume (a baker's dozen). However, some of the puzzles are combined into a single, multi-puzzle, combination puzzle. I hope you enjoy working the logic puzzles as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Note: These are not interactive puzzles. However, there are instructions for printing the grids.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Unhappy July 10, 2012

Same as Version I - what good is a game on Kindle is it isn't interactive? Might as well have bought something in hard-cover if I need to print out the grid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time to download April 30, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It is not worth the time to download. It is not very usable on the Kindle, so you may as well print out the puzzles and do them on paper.

This book contains thirteen puzzles, a baker's dozen. Readers are able to go to the table of contents and easily use the cursor to go to the desired puzzle and to the solution. For example, the first puzzle contains a story about five actors, and eight facts are given about them. We are asked to (1) determine the first and last name of each actor, (2) the movie each starred in, (3) the film company that produced the movie, and (4) the number of weeks that each film ran.

In the thirteenth puzzle, to cite another example, Ted used a shipping company to deliver gifts to five people. He told them to give four of them flowers, but to give the fifth, his girl friend, five different gifts on five different days, and a marriage proposal. The company lost Ted's instructions and delivered the gifts contrary to his instructions. Seven clues are given. We are instructed to determine who got which gifts and when.
