I don't typically write reviews- but this iStation shuffle really knocked my socks off!

#1- You get all the cables you need already included in the package. USB cable, and a 3.5mm cable if you want to hook up any other audio device; like any MP3 player or a Walkman. That saved me $20.00 for not having to buy the USB cable.

#2- WOW! Great sound from these little speakers! Those little holes you see under the speakers actually pump out so much base you can feel it. The sound is crisp- no 'tinny' sound here.

#3- Totally portable- it can run on batteries! Very small-it fits really nice into a carry-on bag or a business bag, so I take the iStation shuffle on the road with me everywhere. Ear buds just aren't very comfortable to wear all the time. Plus, I get to share my music with friends.

#4- The iStation shuffle charges the iPod everytime you put it in the cradle; as long as you have the power cord connected to the wall. Which is good, so it does not drain the batteries. You can even use the iStation shuffle as a docking station, so you can synch using the included USB cable. A useful feature.

#5- I did my research and looked at the reviews on [...]- the iStation shuffle rated an A-, while the next best shuffle speaker system rated a B-. They were right on with their review of the iStation shuffle. Kudos!

In a nutshell- I HIGHLY recommend this item to any iPod shuffle owner. The price is right and I'm sure you too will feel that you got a great value in the iStation shuffle.

This is a nice product...especially for the price. Given that I had problems connecting my shuffe to my compter because of an overhang ledge near by eMac's USB port, the fact that I can sync my Shuffle with this device is a real life saver.

The sound quality isn't awesome...but it's very good considering the price. It's easy to use and it's versitility make it a great solution for a portible MP3 speaker system.

AC or battery operated. Comes with a travel pouch as well.
Great Product!!!

I received my shuffle and the i-station together as a gift. The speakers sound great - more than loud enough, and more importantly a nice, clear sound.

The size is compact, making it easy to travel with not just the little shuffle, but the speaker system, too.

I love that the system doubles as a battery charging dock - I pop the shuffle in every couple of nights and stay fully charged for days.

I haven't used the sync feature yet, but the system included the necessary cables, which is a nice bonus.

You may think the price is kind of high (~$50) for use with a little $99 ipod shuffle at first, but it's more than worth it once you beneft from using it.

With the giant leaps in technolgy lately I think that the shuffle will become obsolete soon enough. That being said, Logic3 i-station is very average. I use mine for working out in the yard, when we have guests over and we want background music, or out by the lake. I ,personally, don't want to spend alot of money on accessories when I will likely upgrade in another year or so. The sound is very basic and lacks any sort of depth. This product is what it is...adequate.

I purchased this product for my 8 year old son simply so he could listen to his soothing music all night. The fact that it charges his ipod while playing the music is a real time saver. The volume doesn't go very loud, but as I said we purchased it for night time lullabys. Although, I didn't feel the sound was distorted at the higher levels. The design is compact and doesn't take up too much space. It also folds up nicely in it's own little carrying case to take on trips.

This is a great product. The sound is great and I needed something portable for my car. Don't forget to turn off the shuffle after turning off the speakers.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE these speakers almost more than the IPOD itself!
I searched every store and could not find a product with all these features for the IPOD shuffle (1st generation).
The price is also very reasonable for a product built this well. I've used these speakers indoors and outdoors for at least a year now and always get compliments from friends,family, and strangers on how good the sound is coming from these speakers. I use the speakers outside on our deck all summer long and enjoy being able to listen to my IPOD without the headphones. I get much more use from my IPOD this way. I've taken the speakers to the beach and everywhere you could imagine. the included carrying case and power cord are great and I use those all the time. It was definitely important to me to be able to use batteries or a power cord, and this product delivers! Normal AA batteries last very long. It is also terrific that when plugged into AC (the wall outlet) it charges the Shuffle while you listen to music.

There are many other products like this in the stores, but they sound horrible and fall apart.

This may be the best product I've purchased in the last 5years!! I can't recommend it enough! It also works on anything with a mini headphone jack too (like any mp3 player or portable CD players)

like the fact that it is easy to use and it creates a wonderful sound. there's a humming sound when you turn off the shuffle while the dock is on but other than that its great!

I got this so I could play my shuffle without lugging my laptop around, and I made a good choice. The sound is pretty decent for such small speakers, especially when it's playing either at my work or at home in my sewing room. I wouldn't use it to replace our living room setup, but it's a very good choice for schlepping around for fun. I also like the fact that it doubles as a recharging dock as well as tripling as a connecting dock for reloading tunes.

A good buy at a great price.
