5.0 out of 5 stars Great audio sound
I like this product because, unlike others that simply connect through the headphone jack, this sends digital quality sound to the car speaker. The sound quality is excellent and the fact that it is retractable is an added bonus. The only downside is that it doesn't charge while plugged in, but with iPod batteries lasting so long these days, that should not be a huge...

3.0 out of 5 stars Arrived Dirty and Used
I'm assuming it works alright, but I must admit I am disappointed with my purchase experience. My cable came dirty and appears used. It had been repackaged in a small manila enveleope, and the cord had dark grime on it that I had to wipe clean. It is advertised as coming in a retail package. The packaging alone would not bother me, if it were not for the product being...

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and in a compact fashion.

The only gripe i have about it is that when you unplug it from your iPod, the iPod keeps playing unlike my old 3.5-to-3.5 which pauses the music when you unplug.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound-just what I wanted!, June 14, 2008

This cable looks deceiving but it really provides a great sound from the Ipod to the car stereo. I previously had the FM transmitter to play my Ipod through and it sounded terrible. This cable provides clear crisp sound from the Ipod to the stereo. Go get one, you can't beat the price!!

Who would have thought such a simple invention would work so good. I bought a new Nissan with an aux jack for plugging an ipod in, this makes dealing with the extra wires so simple. Bought on a recomendation from my brother who also bought a Nissan.

This cable works great - the sound quality is far superior to a regular 3.5mm male male cable, and the retractable feature means no long cords around my gearbox.
One drawback though: I can't plug it in to my ipod Touch if I'm using my hard case, since the base of the jack is too fat to fit into the slot of the ipod case.

The device is cool, but the wiring is too thin. The connector doesn't really fit well either. i'd go with a Belkin or Griffin to be honest with you.

1.0 out of 5 stars select a different adapter, January 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

When the adapter arrived, it worked perfect and sounded great. I really liked the retractable cord feature to make it easy to store.

However, I have treated it gently and the plastic pieces still fell apart making it impossible to secure the connection to my iPod. I wish I had purchased a different brand or a different adapter (3.5mm on either end) to avoid this disappointment as my cord that has been used a dozen times is now worthless.

We bought this cable for our new 2009 Toyota Rav4. Since we didn't have the option of direct connect integration (in our model that is) we wanted the next best thing, and this was it. Cable works as advertised; now we don't have to worry about finding stations through an FM Transmitter. I would recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good basic I-Pod connectivity, February 5, 2009
By
Bucky BradCo "Brad" (West of Baltimore, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Logic3 iPod to 3.5mm Audio Cable (Electronics)
Provides proprietary connectivity for your i-pod to a 3.5 mm aux port. I use mine in my 09 Honda Accord. The volume can be controlled via the car stereo, but it will NOT change channels or any other i-pod functionality. Honda has an i-pod interface but I chose the cheaper route. The cable unwinds to three "stopping points", allowing the cable to stay at certain lengths. It doesn't take much to return it to small again, just a slight tug. If your use involves constant movement, you could remove it from the spindle, or just buy a straight cable. The i-pod connection is solid, and connects firmly. It does not feel flimsy in any way. I felt I got what I paid for, and am satisfied with the purchase. Shipping was prompt and the item arrives in proper packaging.

bought this to link our ipod to our aux jack in our 2008 odyssey - works perfectly, just wish it charged at the same time while it's connected.
