Vincent F. Hendricks holds two doctoral degrees (dr. phil and PhD) in philosophy. He is author and/or editor of numerous books and articles on epistemology, logic and methodology. Among other things, he is the editor-in-chief of Synthese and Synthese Library, the highly estimated international journal and book series on philosophy.

Hendricks is University Professor of Formal Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Elite Researcher of the Danish State and Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University in New York City. He is the author of many books, among them Mainstream and Formal Epistemology (Cambridge University Press, 2007) Thought2Talk (Automatic Press / VIP, 2007), The Convergence of Scientific Knowledge (Springer, 2001). He is also the author and editor of numerous papers and books on formal epistemology, methodology and logic. Hendricks is editor-in-Chief of Synthese and Synthese Library.
