5.0 out of 5 stars Lights up my life December 31, 2008
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I absolutely love this keyboard. There are so many features included that I wasn't expecting. Hot keys for Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel. Just press a button and you're there. I usually never use hot keys on my keyboards, but these will come in very handy, and will definitely speed up my productivity. Internet hot keys, and media hot keys are also included, but those are on most keyboards nowadays. A toggle button to switch between applications and close button to close applications is an added benefit. Doing web design as a hobby I usually have at least 10 screens opened at once. Now I can just hit the toggle button and switch between screens. Much easier than remembering all the shortcut keys.

Cons for some. The letters on the keys are white, so when illuminated some may have a problem seeing them. This is not a problem for me, although I have been typing for over 24 years, 12 years being in key entry as a profession, so I never look at the keys anyway. If you don't look at the keys when you type you should be fine.

The lights are very nice and subtle, not blinding. One thing I have to mention. It took me about a half hour to figure out how to turn the lights on. The box said On/Off switch to control light, so I was looking for a button of some sort. Well, it is part of the f keys located under the audio/video center hot keys in the F key row and is an actual key that says EL on/off. How did I miss that, I knew it was going to be something simple.

Pros and cons summary:

*Many hot keys including Office hot keys for increased productivity. (If you don't use Microsoft Office this may not be an added benefit as most keyboards offer the internet and media hot keys)
*Subtle illuminated lights.

4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT, but little hard to install June 10, 2009
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I have a vista 64 bit system and wanted a nice keyboard, and this one is really nice. It has all the media keys for internet browsing, music, and just bringing up my computer and stuff. I love it while im playing games full screen cause i can change the song.

It Was a little hard to install, my computer couldn't find it for some reason, but i hit some kind of usb button on my tower and it searched all the ports and found it, pretty handy. once it found it i installed and its worked perfect ever since.

1.0 out of 5 stars Illimination failure January 2, 2010
By Ecnook
The illumination feature of this keyboard is terrible. You can't see what the letters are unless you turn the lights on in the room. I am a hunt and peck typist so you can see how painful this keyboard must be for me. If you know how to type this may seem to be a average keyboard with all of the bells and whistles it has.
