Strengths: This is a low cost alternative to what my computer manufacturer was trying to sell me. The big D brand name customer service led me to believe that the only way I could replace my power supply was by using one that was $75. They were wrong! This power supply fit perfectly, has a 24 pin ATX motherboard connector, 2 sata connectors and a P4 connector. Not to mention the four 4-pin molex connectors and the floppy disk connector. This was more than enough to replace my power supply and it had more wattage than the original.

Weaknesses: The only weakness that I have encountered is the length between the sata connectors. If you are connecting two drives that are stacked, you'll be fine. But if you are trying to connect a hard drive that is perpendicular to a dvd drive, you will need to purchase an extension or a sata converter for one of the molex connectors.

Summary: I read several product reviews on the web and had a few concerns. Many complained the noise was excessive, but overall felt it was a good power supply. I would disagree with them in regards to the noise. This power supply can be heard, but it is far from noisy.

I am pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to install. No need to ship your computer off or pay extra for a special power supply.

The only issue was the short length between the sata connectors. However, an extension or conversion plug is an easy fix for that. Just order one with the power supply and save on shipping and down time.
