Low quality imaging,

The shots produced by this supposedly 1.3-megapixel camera are surprisingly bad. It's remarkably easy to set up (just plug it in and go), and it functions fine in PhotoBooth, but the resulting images compare very poorly with Apple's built-in cameras on any of their products. Not only does the resolution visibly suffer (with jaggies galore), but the low-light performance of this camera on the Mac is just awful.Highs: easy installation Lows: low image quality, very poor low-light performance Verdict: avoid. |
