5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Mouse
This is without a doubt the best mouse I've ever used, especially considering the price. It's at the same level with the IMO 1.1 and IME 3.0. Also if anyone on Amazon cares, this is the most popular mouse among professional Korean Starcraft players.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Small Enough
I like my other logitech mice so I thought this would be a good choice for my 7 year old. She needs a smaller mouse. This mouse turns out to be almost identical in size to a full-sized logitech optical mouse. I cannot rate it high since it doesn't meet it's description of being "mini" at all. I'd call it a "mid-size" mouse.

The shorter cord is nice...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mouse for playing Starcraft, Starcraft II, May 12, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Logitech Mini Optical Mouse (Personal Computers)
this is a wonderful mouse for me and I even feel better than logitech G7, since it is flexible and lighter, especially for people playing starcraft because people will move their mouse more often and quicker than the other games. the shortcomeing is that it is so small that you need some time to feel.

Updated Feb,2010:
After more than two years of heavy using as my Starcraft mouse, I really, really love it,it still works perfectly. It's a perfect small mouse for Asians or for small hand people who playing Starcraft or Warcraft all day. As far as I know, 90% Korean Pro-gamers use it for their pro-league games. Since Starcraft II will be on beta this month or retail this year, it will be more in demand than before, just grab one as backup.
Also please remember it's just an ordinary mouse for non-game player.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mouse that works as it should, August 10, 2005

I've had this mouse for a little over a year now. I've been using it with my laptop. It has always worked as it should. I've never had any problem with it, despite few drops here and there.

Some one else commented that the mouse is not really compact. To me, this isn't a bad thing. If the mouse is too small, it would be uncomfortable to use in an extended period of useage. Since I can be working on the computer hours at a time, this is essential. Still it's not as big as regular sized mice.

The cable length is just right for my laptop. It comes with extention cable for those that require longer reach. I thought that was a nice touch.

I can recommend this mouse to anyone who's looking for a simple, wired mouse that just does what it's supposed to do.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Hardy Mouse, December 7, 2004
This review is from: Logitech Mini Optical Mouse (Personal Computers)
I've had this mouse for over 10 months now and it works just like a mouse should for games, surfing the net or anything else I've done on the computer.

The best part about this mouse is that I've dropped it over 100 times, sometimes on really hard floors (I have a laptop that's moved around a lot), and it still works just as well as it did when I first got it. It does have this rattling inside it like something's broken inside, but it hasn't affected the quality of the mouse at all.

There is some slight wear on the buttons from overuse, as I'm on the computer for hours a day, but this is just normal wear and tear that doesn't detract from the appearance of the mouse at all.

Overall, I recommend this mouse for its low cost, durability and quality. Every logitech product I've bought has been a quality product and this one is no different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a Mouse that doesn't get "Stuck"! Great!, October 5, 2002

~ ~ * ~ ~
~ ~ Between my old beloved Macintosh, and my new PC, I must have gone through 10 Mouses (Mice?). Each one, no matter what brand, ended up getting "stuck"- the ball inside that guides the mouse's movement, would stop rolling smoothly. I'm willing to share some of the blame, occasionally I have nicotine fit while working, and I know the ashes spell death to the Mouse's performance. The same problem occurs with the sticky fingers the kids sometimes have when using the computer.

~ ~ I do a lot of amateur photo-editing. (Adobe Photoshop and less expensive, Photodeluxe are great!) This means that having a mouse with really precise and accurate tracking is absolutely vital! I was a little skeptical about the optical mouse, but I bought this Logitech basic optical mouse on sale.
It is wonderful. I can even notice the difference in the wonderfully precise movements when I play simple online games like "Collapse" and "Bounce Out".

~ ~ For any work that requires precise cursor movement (Photo-editing, Illustration, fast-paced Games), this mouse is terrific. I've had it for 2 months now. A normal mouse would have required at least 2 cleanings of the inner ball mechanism, but the Mouse hasn't let me down yet.

I highly recommend the Logitech Optical Mouse as an inexpensive investment, which will greatly improve the way you succeed with many of your applications. This purchase was a winner!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good mouse for three years, June 27, 2010
This review is from: Logitech Mini Optical Mouse (Personal Computers)
Everything I could ask for in a mouse. It worked well for three years and then became too sensitive (always double-clicked) despite all my efforts to tweak the settings and find a solution from the customer support, I had to discard the mouse. Still a very good mouse though, for the three years it worked. Even my little kid's abuse the mouse took in stride. But as I noticed, ultra-sensitivity is how many mice end their lives with, so I have no fault with the manufacturer.

4.0 out of 5 stars good mouse, May 26, 2010

I use this mouse for starcraft 2 and general usage. It is a very solid mouse and good for high sensitivity players. It fits well in my hand and is fairly light. The clicking is very responsive and I can click faster than other mice I've owned. Somehow it feels a little less responsive than my G500 which may have something to do with the polling rate and general quality of the optical sensor in use in the mini optical. The technology is definitely dated but I like it for RTS games. The cord is very short and stiff, I had to use a mouse bungee which I have not needed with other mice in the past.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mouse ever-!!!, January 30, 2010

I thought this mouse was no longer made, can't believe targets selling them.
I love this mouse so much that I have three, but I am still using the first one, for 5 years already and it still works great!!!
The only thing that I dont like is that the cord is abit too long.
This mouse is the best when playing games like starcraft or warcraft 3.
Even the progamers use this mouse.
5 star!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mouse!, November 21, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I have a small hand size (small person) so I like this mouse because its on the small side. It's not a "mini" mouse, rather its a full size mouse for my hand size. Others with larger hands might find the mouse on the small size. I feel its the normal size and the size all mice should be!

4.0 out of 5 stars An inexpensive mouse that feels good and works great, January 31, 2007
This review is from: Logitech Mini Optical Mouse (Personal Computers)
I purchased this mouse to use with my Macintosh when my preschooler fried my old Apple mouse. It tracks very well, feels good in my hand, and was fourteen bucks.

It included a USB extension cord, which I like because I have a choice of two lengths that way. I would say that calling it a "mini" mouse is a tad ambitious. Maybe compact would have been a better word. Or slim. But it's not really mini.
