Awesome, clear, solid sound. Especially for the small size and price. Very smooth and realistic sound with lots of loud, clean bass. And of course the coolest looking speakers.

I'm not the world's leading authority on powered speakers, but these are pretty darned good for close-up listening--that is, if you are using them as computer speakers. The sound has a lot of body and "dimensionality" (for lack of a better word). They are a little wimpy if you are trying to fill a room with sound, but even for that, they are tolerable.

Convenient to set up and use, and nice design. Only possible drawback in this regard is that they are not designed to be hung or mounted--only freestanding.

I have tried many speaker systems with my computer, including many that were quite a bit more expensive, but have always returned to the Logitech Soundman X1. The speakers give very good stereo presence and clarity in a very small package. This system is also very good for individuals who do not have a lot of room on their desktops.

I got this item free-after-rebate about five years ago at Staples, and even today it is in great shape. I am a college student, and our student organization uses it on a regular basis to blast music at full volume at our events in large rooms, and the sound produced fill the whole room, but they also provide great sound when I am sitting in my closet-sized apartment bedroom. Now I'm looking at a 5.1 system also made by Logitech, and for my speaker (and mouse) needs, I will almost ALWAYS go to Logitech. My parents are from Taiwan, and so is Logitech :-D Once again, I reiterate: GREAT PRODUCT! 5/5 Stars!!!

These Logitech X1 speakers are fantastic. I knew they were compact, but it wasn't til I got them out the box and set them up that I realized how tiny they really are. They're perfect for smaller spaces, or as I use them, very discreet when placed under a coffee table. I'm not the world's biggest audiophile, but the sound fidelity from these is excellent, despite their size. They might not be loud enough for some people, but I find they put out a decent amount of sound for their size, with fine levels of bass, treble, middle, and a certain clarity and lack of 'muddiness' that I didn't expect from such a compact speaker set.

First of all excuse for my english. I just got the Logitech SoundMan X1. It's incredible. The sound of guitar and bass are astonishing. This is my favorite gift from all i receive for christmas. If you like blues, go buy this system.
