Great for PC, Not So Much for Mac,

I would be more enthusiastic about the Attack 3 if Logitech actually created a driver for Mac OS X. As is stands now, I'm having a very difficult time trying to find an app/driver compatible with this game controller that did not disable my Magic Mouse. Since Logitech only makes a Windows driver for the Attack 3, I have to advise against anyone with a Mac using this...unless they're using a very early version of OS X. But for me, I really tried to make it work with a series of downloads with mixed results.
For Mac gamers (and yes, we do exist), I'd not suggest that they buy this thing. It does look cool, but when will function follow form? Not looking for a Mac-compatible driver from Logitech anytime soon. |
