Nice piece of technology, January 17, 2009
This keyboard is wonderful, there are buttons on either side of the keyboard that allow you to return to you home page, control volume, zoom in and out of images or text; in addition to all those functions there is a numerical pad that allows easy numberical entry, invaluable to those who work with numbers and spread sheets...I find that the mouse works well and have no issues with it. I bought a new dell computer a few months ago and chose the s 510 as an option and I am really glad I did.
To date I have had no issues with the keyboard or the mouse.

GREAT overall keyboard!!!, April 25, 2009
I bought this from a store(sorry amazon) but thought that this keyboard, merited a review. I have been using this keyboard for around 2 years and it has never failed me. I have recently been in the market for a newer, gaming keyboard, but all of the keyboards I have found usually dont stack up, either because they are too pricey or because they don't have the features I would like. I am a college student, who is an avid computer gamer, so this keyboard takes a serious beating through-out the year, and especially over summer.
In the box, you get the wireless keyboard,(with very decent range, supreme battery life and a functional multimedia board.) and a mouse.
has an [F] mode which has programmable keys, and 4 macro keys f9-f12. the f keys are small, but retain all of their functionality.
The mouse is nothing special, a 2 key+wheel. not form fitted, for the lefties in the world.
I rate this keyboard a 5 out of 5 because of its durability, functionality, wireless capability, relatively low cost compared to other high quality dual-sets, and because it has logitech software/support.
Definitely a good buy for your money!!!

good but want better keyboard layout, January 28, 2009
Haven't had much problems with connectivity and response for both mouse and keyboard with vista. Like the wrist rest area, feel of the keys, convenient media buttons on the side (I usually play music while on computer). I want my keyboards to have cap/num lights and most wireless ones tend not to have them (probably to save on energy usage). This one has it with the RF receiver at the end of a decent length of cord so I place it next to the monitor area to easily reference it (especially convenient to check when typing passwords). I like logitech as a whole but the reason the review got 4 instead of 5 stars is the layout. I really want: 1) a regular sized escape button and 2) the page up/down button area in a 3 across by 2 down format. I really dislike the tiny nib escape buttons and 2x3 style page up/down button layouts that logitech seems to favor nowdays.
