First, as far as I can tell, there is no operational difference between this black version of the Logitech V320 wireless mouse and the grotesquely ugly grey and silver version of the Logitech V320. It was worth the price difference for me to have this much more attractive black version. The images of the product shown here on Amazon are *exactly* what it looks like.

I am using this product with Windows XP Pro SP2, without the Logitech driver.

PROS:
* Stylish design and color.
* Very responsive and accurate, which gives you a wide range of actually usable mouse speeds via the Windows Control Panel --> Mouse pointer speed adjustments. If I am doing some digital photo editing, I can slow the mouse down via Windows to give me greater control. When I am browsing the internet, I speed the mouse up to make swift movements across my dual display setup. In fact, the fastest setting in the Mouse Control Panel is almost too fast.
* Fits my hand well. I am a man, but I wear gloves in size small (male) or size medium (female LOL), so the diminutive size is handy not only for travel but it fits my hand much better than the huge desktop mice (such as the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 1000 which this mouse is replacing).
* Furthermore, the ergonomics are excellent: the curvature on the top feels perfect, the sides are rubberized for easier gripping, and the Teflon pads on the bottom are large and allow the mouse to slide easily across my desktop, and these pads look thick enough to last a long time before wearing out.
* The left and right clicks are sure and smooth. It does NOT require much pressure to click the left or right buttons, and this is important to me to reduce the stress on the tendons of my arm.

As usual Logitech mouses are great. I think invisible optical mouses are better then laser (own experience). Also used V450 laser for brief time but felt heavy compare to this one which uses 2 AAA batteries compare to 2 AA by V450. I have not seen any performance difference in invisible optical or laser one.

I had bought an older version of this mouse about two years ago...I use a MacBook Pro and had no problems with the previous model, but then one day it started acting up. I dealt with it for a few weeks before contacting Logitech. After going through all of the things that might have been wrong, they sent me a new mouse. Just like that. And I have to say this model, the V320, is even better then my last one. It fits the hand nicely, has side to side scrolling, and as much as I love my Wireless Bluetooth Mighty Mouse, this one is much better. I would never hesitate to buy a Logitech product again, they definitely stand behind their brand. Great mouse, even on a Mac.

I love this mouse! I was a little bit worried about the fact that it used batteries, but I liked the feature of the button that can turn the mouse off to save battery power. I love the freedom of not having a cord on the mouse. This mouse is ergonomically designed, is small, but not too small, has additional features (e.g. zoom), and the USB connector fits into the base of the mouse for storage. I would highly recommend this mouse.

Good, reliable mouse. I have one I use for work and I gave one to my boyfriend. It's a good size so it feels comfortable in the hand while using. Works well with the several different laptops we use. The feel of it is a little faster than the plug-in mouse I have or the one built into my laptop, so it takes a little getting used to. Batteries last a long time and the mouse works at several feet away (good for presentations).

I was very happy with this mouse. Small but works great.
I bought one for my desktop and another for my laptop.
Reasonable price on Amazon. Love the onboard storage
for the USB transmitter and it's small size. Works much
better than the laser mouse I use at work. Would highly
recommend.

A little cordless mouse, with big mouse features. Great for use with a laptop computer. I especially like the on/off switch Logitec thoughtfully provided on the bottom. Conversely, on Microsoft's little mouse, it is necessary to remove the receiver from USB port, and then insert it into the bottom of the mouse - what a kludge - just to turn off the mouse. Also, the Logitec left-right mouse buttons are much smoother in both touch and action than the Microsoft equivalent. The Logitec mouse uses two AAA batteries. Overall operation is very smooth. Note: guys with big hands, like me, might find the right-mouse button a little on the light side - I sometimes accidentally click it.

When the left-click button switch decided to deteriorate immensly in response on my previous Logitech cordless notebook mouse, I finally decided to buy a new one. The problem hadn't been that bad before, but it finally got to the point where I said "Alright, I've had enough. I'm getting a new one.".

Needless to say, This is a perfect replacement, and I'm very happy with the mouse. It's more comfortable than the last one (which was very good), and it feels very solidly built, as usual from Logitech. The fact that it uses two AAAs instead of AAs is interesting as well. The way the batteries go in is very odd, and I was confused about it the first time I put them in. I assumed it maintained the traditional opposite facing battery setup, and only when it didn't turn on did I actually take one of them out and notice they were supposed to face the same way. Stupidity on my part.

Other than this, and the fact that if you're not careful when putting the batteries in you could possibly damage the main circuitboard of the mouse, it's perfect. Those two things are so minor that they don't make a difference to me, hence the five-star rating.

All in all, a perfect replacement mouse for my old Logitech notebook mouse (abotu a year and a half, to two years old), and none to stingy with the pricing. I bought mine at Circuit City who just so happened to be having a sale on the mouse that day. $[...] before $[...] of mail-in rebates. $[...] for such a good mouse is quite the deal!
