Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Because there is no cord to get in the way, Logitech's Cordless Wheel Mouse provides more desktop flexibility. It uses digital radio technology and works even while pointing away from your computer. Cluttered desks won't interfere with its operability because it works anywhere within a 6-foot range of the receiver. The receiver is compact and easy to install. The cordless Wheel Mouse is designed to fit comfortably in either right or left hands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy, great item, August 18, 2000

I got this mouse as a present a little while ago, and I am totally impressed. Having a mouse cord is just in the way at this point. I have a Logitech cordless keyboard as well, and together they really work well. I can sit over across the room (my computer is hooked through my TV sometimes) and surf, play games, etc. from anywhere in the room. I have a Microsoft cordless mouse at work, and it works great too, but the Logitech mouse has a longer life, and is better ergonomically. It is a little small, but that's actually ok, since it's no smaller than a usual mouse. I'm not sure how well it works with another brand of cordless keyboard, but I would think that it should be fine. A good buy, for sure!

5.0 out of 5 stars My Cordless Pal, November 28, 2000
This review is from: Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse (Personal Computers)
I am a grandmother and I ABSOLUTELY love this cordless mouse. During playing a card game online I can put the mouse on my knee and play away. It tells you when the battery is low. I have replaced them twice in a year and the last time was just a couple weeks ago. I wish we had these at work because of their movability and comfort. Everyone should have one.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm in loooooooove! Finally, a mouse I adore, February 15, 2001
This review is from: Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse (Personal Computers)
Did you ever consider how IMPORTANT the mouse is? This is the interface to your computer. Along with the keyboard, this is how you access your information. How good your mouse is will determine the comfort level of using your computer.

I noticed I was getting wrist pain from excessive mouse use. I switched to the cordless Logitech mouse and I never EVER want to use another kind of mouse. I tried the optical mouse (tracks on any surface) but the cordless mouse was far, far better. One reason is that the lack of the "tail" on the mouse means you have complete freedom of movement along the mouse pad. You never hold your wrist at a strange or strained angle to accommodate the cord getting stuck or pulling on the mouse. For gaming (we like Age of Kings) it really does the job. Agile, fast and snappy.

I added a very good ergonomic gel mouse pad and I noticed a huge difference in my comfort using the computer. I recommend adding an ergonomic mouse pad for anyone who uses their computer a lot.

The only downside to the cordless mouse is that you do need to keep a supply of AAA batteries in your desk for when they run out. Or your mouse will be dead in the water, so to speak. This is a small price to pay for cordless ease.

Another potential downside for you is if you have large hands. I have average sized hands and this mouse is just right. But I know someone with extra large hands and he finds this mouse a bit small. So if you find you get hand cramps because you have very big hands and most computer mice are too small, this one may not be the one for you.
