This USB mic works well but there is no reason to overpay. The exact same model for the PS2 is 10 dollars cheaper on Amazon. From all the specs and pics I've compared, these are the exact same mics and are compatible on both systems. What gives charging 10 dollars more for different packaging label? Don't get ripped off! Buy the PS2 version!

Works great with Karaoke Revolution games on PS2 and PS3. Singstar games WILL NOT work with this.

Well, with the recent destruction of my old Rock Band microphone due to a pesky pet, I decided to go out and buy a new one, settling for the Logitech Vantage microphone. These mics are widespread in availability and are easy to obtain, and make great replacements for broken mics or just additional extras.

One great thing about this microphone is the length of the chord, which, while annoying to some, is great for me. It allows easy movement of the mic without worrying about a cable getting caught. Furthermore, due to the fact its a usb mic, it is compatible with practically any console, and can even work with your computer. Some have even reported that this mic is actually better in terms of detection when compared to other usb microphones, but I haven't found any proof of this yet.

Overall, this is a solid microphone that, while wired, gets the job done, and does it well. I recommend this microphone to anybody who needs a good-functioning replacement mic with no bells and whistles attached to it.

I bought this originally for rock band on the ps2 because it was the only mic in stock. It worked for my PsII, even though it said PsIII mic. Then we got an xbox360 and i bought rock band for that as well and this mic worked just fine. All in all, it works for xbox360 which is all i really need it for. So if you're shifting between xbox 360 and playstation consoles for games which require a mic, this one may be for you.

The Logitech Vantage USB Microphone arrived in a package that said it was for Playstation 3, however it works perfectly for my Wii with Karokee Revolution. The cord is much longer than the cord for the microphone that came with the game, and it's black instead of white. Mic works perfectly! Highly recommented.

This came in a box that says it's for PS2. It had a horrible audio lag and stopped working after a week. This is not a good microphone for Wii. I wouldn't recommend it.

We actually like this mic better than the one that comes with rock band. Its lighter and more sensetive which makes the tamborine parts much easier. Highly recommended.

This product is designed for PS2 originally. Logitech must make too many of it, and they put a sticker on the package stating that it is compatible with PS3, Wii, and XBOX. I am sorry but it does not work for Wii. There is a significant audio lag that makes the game unplayable. I will be putting it on ebay soon.

We bought this so the kids could play a Highschool Musical sing-along Wii game. We love it, the cord is very long so we have room to move around and it works wonderfully.

I bought this when we needed a new USB microphone for our PS2 Rockband & Guitar Hero 3. The microphone that came with the PS2 Rockband seemed good, until about six months after we owned it the cord broke off the microphone. On THIS microphone the cord goes up under the bottom and it's not attached to it. (I hope that makes sense.) This is much better made! The grip on the microphone seems better and the overall feel of it is really nice. This microphone is a universal USB that works well with PS2/PS3/Xbox 360 Guitar Hero Series & Rockband's series. If you're in the market for a good USB microphone, look no further.
