This is the perfect mouse for a notebook computer on the go, or even at home. First it's not wireless, so you never have to worry about batteries dying. Second the cord has a place to wrap around the mouse (where you can't see it), and the usb part pops into the bottom, making sure the cord is never a hassel during traveling. I can't believe there are not more mouses with this feature. Third it's not ultra small, but just right for travel and hand comfort.

The only thing that keep me from giving it five stars is two things. First no back button, or in other words a third button. The back button saves so much times while browsing the web, i can't believe they don't have it on here. Third, when I bought it, I thought it automatically retracked, like a measuring tape, I was a little disappointed, but i'm sure they'll make something like that in the future.

But right now I think it's the best you can get.

Yes. The wrapping cable works great.
Yes. The scroll wheel and middle button are easy to use.
Yes. The left and right buttons work fine.
Yes. The size is perfect for toting around.
NO. It is not as durable as one might think.

The cable right at the base of the usb connector has some sort of short in it. The mouse goes in and out if this area is agitated by movement. Now, with that said, wrapping the mouse up will probably make things worse which shouldn't be since wrapping and unwrapping the mouse should be the most flawless operation. However, Logitech seems to have made the mouse cable too weak to seriously be used over and over again. If you never plan to wrap and unwrap the mouse over and over like a regular on the go notebook user then this is a fine mouse, albeit one with a short cable. If you plan on going around the world with it, no. It's terrible. Logitech has better mice that are wireless to boot.

I've owned several of these mice, they are great for travel. However two issues: eventually the wrapping cable develops issues and either stops working completely or becomes intermittent. Also, how can this company be charging nearly $60 for a mouse that has always been under $20? Did they gold plate it or something?

Everyhing is good except the cable but that makes it too bad. It's really too short especially if you use your right-hand and the usb ports are on the left of the laptop or vice versa.

I really cannot recommend it to anybody who uses different sides (like left side usb ports and right-handed!).

The touchpad on my HPdv4 has gotten really bad so my sister gave me this mouse to use in the meantime and I have to say it's great. It's not bulky and it's simple. Right and left click and a scroll wheel is all you need. The wire looks flimsy and I've been reading reviews of this mouse dying on people but my sister has owned this mouse for over a year now and it's still going strong. So no complaints here. Highly recommended.

This is a good sized mouse and perfect for packing up with my laptop. The only drawback is the cord as depending on what you are using it with, it can be a bit short.

The mouse was great until it stop working last week. The cable just get internally broken, and now is useless. I'm now change to a wireless mouse.
