5.0 out of 5 stars Nice...
I like Logitech products, they're always made of durable material and are stylish. I bought this mouse 'cause I gave my other one to my wife. This is a full sized mouse, and fits my hand really well. it's light and moves across the table really well. It comes with two batteries and it keeps track of the battery life. This style comes in different colors, all eye-catching...

I'm a Mac user and purchased this mouse because I wanted a cordless double-click mouse with options such as page forward and back and of course, a scroll wheel. The packaging said the mouse was Mac-compatible. However, once I got it home and started using it, none of the options I was looking for worked. Following their tech support on their site, I downloaded the...

4.0 out of 5 stars Worked perfectly right out of the box, February 18, 2012
This review is from: Logitech Optical LX7 Cordless Mouse, Five-Button, Dark Blue (Personal Computers)
I decided to buy this mouse after my previous Microsoft wireless optical mouse started showing some software glitches after less than a year of use (it seems that Microsoft's bugs are not just limited to its operating systems and other software products.) I decided to try out Logitech's mouse after viewing all of the positive reviews on Amazon and the overall high ratings. So far, all those high marks seem more than justified. The mouse setup was a breeze, my Windows Vista installed all the drivers in about ten seconds and I was ready to go. The mouse seems very responsive, and all of its navigational buttons work as advertised. The mouse seems solid in your hand, and overall it gives off an impression of high manufacturing value. My only objection is that is a bit smaller than a regular desktop mouse, which may not be a big deal if you, like me, are going to primarily use it with a laptop. Another problem is that the wireless USB transmitter is a bit too large, especially when compared with the recent transmitters that barely stick out of the USB port. Also, unlike some other transmitters, this one cannot be tucked in into a compartment on your mouse, which is a convenient feature if you travel a lot and don't want to run the risk of losing the transmitter. Other than these two objections, I am extremely satisfied with this mouse.

Once you plug the receiver in, it automatically starts the drivers and within five seconds, it's ready to go.

I'm a Mac user and purchased this mouse because I wanted a cordless double-click mouse with options such as page forward and back and of course, a scroll wheel. The packaging said the mouse was Mac-compatible. However, once I got it home and started using it, none of the options I was looking for worked. Following their tech support on their site, I downloaded the Logitech Center software that was supposed to be for Mac OSX. Sure, right. The software wouldn't open on my Mac. Then I started to do some research on their site and found out that Logitech cordless mice aren't recognized by Mac's bluetooth, so "some" features "probably" will not work on a Mac, such as page forward and back and scroll. Terrific, huh? Don't bother trying to phone Logitech, as they don't have a toll-free number and after being put on hold at my expense for 10 minutes, I gave up. I emailed them and got 1 reply to fill out a form (not attached) to receive my RMA for a replacement. Hello?? I don't want a replacement. I want a refund. What good would a replacement do? Long story to short. They never sent me a replacement, nor a refund and I am out $35 for the mouse. THIS MOUSE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MACS, no matter what their packaging states. BUYER BEWARE.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse for a laptop, December 23, 2008
This review is from: Logitech Optical LX7 Cordless Mouse, Five-Button, Dark Blue (Personal Computers)
I bought this mouse to use with my laptop. I bought both last year. I'm really happy with the performance of this mouse. I use the mouse in my living room chair and it works great on the arm of the chair. The battery low warning light is nice and the style is comfortable.

I wish it was a bit bigger and more ergonomic but since everyone has different preferences, your experience might be different. Overall I'm very pleased.
