ive been using these speakers for about three months now with my laptop. they are absolutely incredible. i liked them so much that i bought two more sets for family and friends. everyone who sees them comments on the cool looking and easy to use remote, which i think is one of the best features. also, you can take the grill off of the speakers to make them look even more sweet. i looked at a lot of other speakers before buying these, and for the price, these were by far the best deal. although they might not sound as nice as altec lansing speakers, they are pretty close. the volume goes way louder than i ever need it to go, and the sound is still sharp and clear at loud volumes. the only slight downfall is that the sub volume is on the back of the subwoofer. this is no problem for me though, since i keep my sub at a constant level anyways, unless it is for a party or something. from my experience, i have found logitech to make very durable and quality products. i would recommend these to anyone looking for quality upgrades to their current computer speakers. i have used creative, jbl, and altec lansing speakers in the past and these are definitely at the top of the list.

After reading a couple of discouraging opinions on these speakers, I still went ahead and ordered, knowing that I could return them if I was unsatisfied. Now that I've owned them for a couple of months, I couldn't be happier with them. I know that everyone is entitled to their opinions but I, personally, can't see where the negative opinions were justified, unless those buyers didn't install the system correctly. You'll want to be sure to place the sub-woofer on the floor to get the best results as specified in the instructions. Also, the comments that the bass was too overpowering can be easily remedied with the volume control that is found on the back of the sub-woofer. If that still doesn't correct the bass, go into your computer's sound settings and adjust the tones from there. I'm convinced that these speakers are one of the best values out there. The sound quality surpasses many other speaker sets costing much more money. In my opinion, you will not be at all unhappy with the purchase of the Logitech Z-3 speakers

I never thought I would belive the reviews, but these speakers thump! Great sound quality, aesthetics and size! Makes any music sound good, except Country...just kidding!

Wait for the sale and buy them up!

The Logitech Z-3e have a nice range of sound. The base is fully adjustable. I find having it around mid-way is perfect for most listening needs. The highs are clean and clear, the mids are full and the bass is deep. The silver finish is also a nice touch. Look around and you can often find these for 20% less than retail. Highly recommended speakers for those on a budget!

I got these pc speakers yesterday -- for the price, you just can't beat 'em. I did a lot of shopping around and comparing, and finally settled on these after reading a ton of positive online reviews. My fears were that they would either be 'tinny' sounding (too much high end / treble), or would have too much bass with the sub-woofer. Well, I can tell you that my fears have been replaced with pure joy. These speakers have a better sound than my stereo system. They sound very big, and very expensive. The woofer is adjustable (great feature), and even with the woofer set to about level '2', they have a lot of bass / low-end. Not too much, mind you - but enough to really add a lot to the music, which is primarily what I'm using these for. The system also has a wired remote (another great feature), so that you don't have to reach all over the place to adjust the volume, or turn them off. I expected that these would sound 'good', but not great for the price. They sound EXCELLENT, and the price has nothing to do with it. Do yourself a favor - treat yourself to these speakers. You will not regret it!!

I've read several reviews of this Z3 speaker set in different forums and most of them were putting them down as insufficient in sound, output and overall tone. I could test about a dozen in a shop and, Z3, in comparison to Altec and Creative, sounded a bit flat but the sound was linear neutral and clean. I also compared Z3 to Z4; the heights from Z3 sounded better, Z4 had almost no mids, despite the 3 speakers in the satellites and the bass was too weak. That was just the point, why I've chosen them. I fixed the satellites on the wall, in height of my ears and the bass underneath the computer table. Thats most important with Logitech, you have to carefully put them in right position. With I tunes and Power DVD 7 you have plenty of features to adjust the sound, and with its linear basics, I get tremendeous overall sound, good bass and clear heights and fantastic stereo effects and enough power to get excellent sound at low level when working at night.
These speakers won't blow you away at high level, allthough they LOOK as if they would, but remember that they cost around $ 65.-- and not $ 650.-... If you want something like this, you have to choose Logitech Z-5500 Digital.

This baby rocked my room for over 2 years but all of sudden it died on me. Finally ended up in dumpster. No regrets bought it for $35 from amazon.

These look nice (better than the other Z3s with fake wood grain stickers), particularly the aluminum front piece (though the grills are very attractive, too). Easy to hook up. Convenient headphone jack on the power/volumn remote. Great price.

I gave the Logitech Z-3e 4-out of 5 stars becuase I have noticed the smaller "satillite" speakers (the small ones)tend to pop and crackle when pushed to there limit. The Sub is very powerful and add much needed low end. If you keep the volume at a "normal" level these speakers perform very well.

I wanted something more than the stock speakers that came with my comp, and I got it. These things got me into dance music so much more, now that I can actually feel the beat. This system is pretty powerful for it's size. I disturb the neigbhors with these things .. granted I live in a town house .. but that's ok! Great buy!
