It works very smooth and fast.
Carlos
Sometimes, it is too sensitive and I unintentionally scroll, while at other times, I need to repeatedly swipe up and down to get it to scroll.

The big problem is the right click, where you have to lift your left finger off the mouse and then click the right side.

After installing Windows 8 on my PC I quickly realized I would need a touch screen, touch pad or touch mouse to fully utilize the beautiful Windows 8 Metro interface apps. I've been a Logitech mouse user for years with my current one being a Logitech Performance MX mouse. The Performance MX mouse is one of the best reviewed and selling mice on Amazon and for good reason as it has a great feel, excellent weight and couples into your hand naturally. Keep in mind I am reviewing the new T620 having come from the performance MX.

NOTE: For this review when I state 'Windows 8 app' I am talking about 'Metro' native apps.

One of the problems with Windows 8 is that if you have dual monitors its hard to go to the extreme upper right or lower right of the screen to bring of the 'charm' menu without scrolling over to the next monitor on accident. You also have to scroll down to 'scroll bars' on Windows 8 apps instead of naturally scrolling them left to right as you would on a tablet or touch screen when using a mouse. After reading some not so good reviews about the Microsoft Touch mouse on Amazon I decided to buy the Logitech t620 for the Windows 8 gesture support. It was advertised to allow me to pull up the charm menu from any area of the screen, toggle between the Windows 8 start menu and the desktop with ease, and use Windows 8 native apps with more natural ease.

Physically the t620 is a good 3/4th inch smaller in height at its peak than my Performance MX mouse. It's about a half inch shorter than most 'generic' optical mice you get with your PC. I found it hard to get used to the feeling of tips of my fingers and mid part of my hand being so much closer to the mouse pad.

Three issues I found with this mouse:

1.) For whatever reason I find this mouse has a slight tracking problem (even with mouse settings adjusted the best I could get them) for example when you are moving the cursor at fast motion then suddenly click on small closely-spaced icons like close, maximize, minimize, or closely-spaced icons in general, it might click on the adjacent icon instead of the intended one. This problem is more obvious when moving the cursor quickly. If you are a mouse power user this slight tracking issue will annoy you.

2.) Next issue for me was the surface texture of the mouse, very smooth... too smooth for a touch mouse, as even slightly moist fingers will cause traction on the surface. in my opinion you need a slight texture to create an ideal glide that feels good to the touch.

3.) My last issue is the right click and left click "buttons." There are no physical buttons on top instead they crated large click button below the mouse so when you click where the left mouse button should be the whole mouse clicks down but it registers as a left click because you are touching the left surface of the mouse. Same principle goes for the right side. To be fair I do like the feel of the clicking mechanism below, it has a very gently click which I dint mind at all, however what I find fault with it is when you rest a left finger on the left side of the mouse (even slightly touching) and do a right click it will register as a left click maybe half of the time. And vice versa.

Since it is a surface device, you can't rest your fingers on it or it can't tell if you're clicking left or right.
I had to hold the mouse by the edges to move it, my click fingers hovering above it.
So it's very uncomfortable to use.

Often, when I right click the mouse does a left click even when my index finger isn't on the mouse (or slightly touches the mouse).
The only consistent way I could get a right click was to click the right side hard.

Sometimes, my fingers will barely touch the surface as I'm moving the mouse no matter how careful I am. This scrolls what I'm trying to work on.
I could disable the scroll but then what's the point of having the surface in the first place?

There are currently no sensitivity settings in the driver so no way to tweak it.

Even if some if the issues are because I got a defective mouse, it looks like a bad design to me.

After 2 days of trying to make this mouse work, I returned it.

Sorry to hear that you've returned the product. We wanted to acknowledge comments and clarify how to perform a right click. Click the mouse while pressing only on the right side of the mouse. You do have to lift the left finger off of the mouse while clicking on the right side. Any other click should be recognized as a left click, and you should be able to rest your fingers on the surface of the mouse in a relaxed fashion. If this is not the case, please contact our customer support for more assistance.

I purchased the mouse after I researched and read some reviews.I can tell you that the one thing that bothers me most about the mouse is not described, shown nor heard in any review or demo I have seen.
The mouse senses your left or right finger and then makes you PUSH THE WHOLE MOUSE DOWN to imitate a left or right button click. It has a cheap feeling as well as a very loud and cheap sounding CLICK-CLACK !
I cannot overstate how that sound surprised me.
I would have thought that this specific endemic action would be classier?!,more refined ? its not.
I will try to see if I can get used to the mouse for 48 hours if not its going back

BTW the windows 8 functions all work about 95% of the time if you concentrate on movements.

The Touch Mouse T620 actually has the quietest "click" in our product range, and the switch has been specifically tuned to resonate at a lower frequency. It sounds as though your mouse may have a malfunction, so please contact customer support.
