The mouse fits my hand good and works very well for my son. The USB works great and the batties are still going for constant use for 2 months.
The only reason I gave a 4 is because there is no off button to not be using the batteries. You have to remove the USB from the computer and snap it onto the mouse to actually turn it off. Other than that it works great. We are using it for a desktop computer.

I've been using this mouse for about an hour now and so far it works great. Although the packaging was a pain to open, this thing was really "plug and play." Easy to get the batteries in, easy to get up and running...just plug the USB receiver in and you're good. No on and off switch to worry about, just plug the receiver attachment into the mouse. That shuts the power off. Battery life is quoted at a year. (We'll see.)

Although the mouse comes with software, I didn't need to use it, which is important since my work laptop doesn't let me install software (no admin rights!).

I thought this device should use 2 AAA batteries instead of 2 AA batteries to cut down on the weight, but the extra weight gives the mouse some heft, which gives it controllability.

The wireless transmitter on this mouse has amazing range. I went 30 feet away and it still worked. I would have tested it further but the mouse cursor was too small to see and my house isn't that big! This would be easily usable for presentations, with the advantage of the presented not being tied down to the laptop and projector.

I didn't realize that this mouse also has some bonus features. The optical reader isn't that bright blinding red, but is invisible. Also, the scroll wheel can scroll left and right, as well as up and down. This hasn't worked for me yet, probably since I didn't install the software!

So far I'm quite happy with it. We'll see how easy it is to travel with it!

The mouse is not black like the picture. Instead, it's a shiny gray and it's really a nice! I have had several comments about its appearance and how it stands out from the rest. The mouse is great and is very sensitive to touch, so it responds quite well at high speeds. I would definitely recommend this gadget to anyone who loves a quality, good-looking mouse with great battery life!

This mouse is comfortable for average sized hands, but initially I had been seeing hesitant or sluggish mouse response - both in Windows and Linux. At first I thought it was a battery problem, but after reading the glowing reviews of this mouse, I though I would try moving the USB receiver from the rear of my computer to the front, and it improved dramatically! I have a computer in a metal box, so I guess line-of-"sight" for 2.4GHz (as far as metal shields are concerned) may be important. The mouse battery has now lasted about a year, and is still working well.

Great brand at a great price [due to rebate offer], and easy to setup and use out of the box. Software on the CD and booklet are useful but you can download the more updated software on the official websites online. The mouse shape is large enough for the palm and doesn't cramp your hands or fingers when using for a long period of time. The small wireless usb receiver is very convenient and takes up no room at all! The 4-way scroll [side2side/up/down] is the best feature, no loud clicking and very smooth rolling. Recommended!

It is my first cordless mouse because I has been reluctant to get one due to worries about unstable connections and bad battery life of cordless mice. This one exceeded all my expectations.

The connection with the computer is great. It instantly connects when you plug in the receiver into the USB port, even if you are using it for the first time with a particular PC. I works with Macs too.

The battery life is great too. It powers from a pair of AA batteries, which I haven't changed since March (i.e. over 6 months), and this is my only mouse so I use it all the time.

The receiver fits well on the bottom of the mouse, switching it off and saving the battery life. I carry the mouse in my backpack among other stuff and don't remember the receiver has ever separated from the mouse.

As with many optical mice, this mouse doesn't like some surfaces. For example, my mouse act erroneously on a dark-grey marble-like colored desk, so I am using a mouse pad. However, it works great on fabric, sheets, uneven surfaces.

Highly recommended. I am using the second one, because the first one was given as a gift to a co-worker.

My Kingston wireless gave out and I found myself suddenly in the market for a new wireless mouse. Of course, Logitech has been for me, the authority. So this product was an automatic sell for me.

What I didn't know at the time was how much of a gem it would turn out to be. I can use it anywhere, on almost any surface, and the best thing of all is that after 4 months, I am still waiting on the 2 supplied Duracell batteries to die.

I miss the thumb button - but that's not something you find on a laptop mouse anyway; and the ergonomics are a little awkward for small hands. The side scroll is one of the best features however and I would recommend this product to anyone - laptop or not.

This is the second Logitech cordless mouse I own. The other is red but smaller. I could not find that model anywhere on line--so I bought this one. It is easy to use, runs smoothly, great color. I bought two other cordless mice (a Kensington and Targus) and returned them. Nothing could match the red logitech I already owned. You cannot go wrong with this logitech red cordless mouse.

This is the 2nd one of these I've purchased. The first one I use on my personal laptop. It has been plugged in for well over a year and I have not had to change the batteries. It tracks well, points where it is supposed to, and fits well in my hand. The 2nd one I purchased is for my work laptop and replaces a wireless Microsoft mouse. The right button died on the MS mouse so I'm replacing it with something of proved high quality and durability.

And I love the fact that they are red!!!

It's the perfect size-not to big,not to small.I never have a problem with the signal,it's quite responsive.Tracks very well.Works great for my left handed self.I love my shiny red one,it helps me to not misplace it and it's just darn cute.I sent my expensive laser rechargeable cordless back.2 thumbs up.
