Logitech V250 Cordless Mouse/number Pad

There are very few cordless numeric pads out there that can be used with your computer. When I found the Logitech V250 in a retail store, it cost $79.99. Amazon had it on sale for $59.99, which was a great price, and an even better one once I received it. The mouse is ergonomic and compact, and the numeric keypad is great for use as a regular calculator or to insert figures into applications like Excel or Act!. Both items are easy to carry around with the carrying cases that Logitech provides. I have had no problems with the software, which can be annoying and happened to me with my flash drive. This package is great for road warriors who consistently work with numbers, and need a reliable solution to get it done.

Overall, this works great with my lab top. Only thing I don't like about is that in calculator mode, if you press clear (back arrow) button, the whole thing is cleared rather than one digit by one digit. A minor thing I also want to have is "00" button in lieu of "000" button, just because I am more familiar with using "00" button.

Worked as advertised and then some. I bought this for my wife to make using Quicken on her laptop easier, especially when entering lots of numbers. The keypad is perfect in every way. I also wanted to get her an optical mouse that could use the USB port without having a bulky or wired receiver. Both are accomodated with this product using one USB receiver that is no bigger than a SD card reader. The calculator, time and temp features in the keypad are a nice bonus. It also functioned perfectly on an older laptop running XP home, and installed without a hitch.

After a few initial problems with the clarity of the setup instructions I found this to be a wonderful complement to my laptop. As a CPA, I need to use the calculator keypad constantly. Having the ability to switch between the regular numeric pad for spreadsheet number entry and the smart calculator function is really a timesaver. Love the size. The rubber feet keep it in place on slick desk surfaces and the size is perfect for easy use. I really like having the protective cover, but it is a little hard to remove. If you have bad arthritis it would be a problem.

The mouse is the right size for ease of storage and also for use. I like having the zipper cushion case for the mouse, but would have liked to also have the mouse bottom with a molded surface to store the PS-2 connector rather than a pocket in the storage case. Really a minor irritant rather than a substantive complaint.

I purchased this to enhance my laptop. I love the fact that they are both wireless. I use the mouse more than the number pad, however, the number pad is handy when working in Excel.

I work at home some and I have had some trouble with the number pad working with the accounting software package at work. I have tried reinstalling the software and this works for a little while. I figure it has something to do with our firewall at work.

Other than the above problem - it has been great. Would highly recommend this product.

Both my husband and I use our laptops for work, and we often have to enter numberical data. This product has made life infinitely easier, and we are very happy with it. Easy to set up, works flawlessly.

i bought the wireless keyboard pad with the wireless mouse because i have to do lot of excel work and input figures in excel sheet. most of the laptops like mine have the numerals arranged in straight line below the function keys on the keypad, which makes it difficult or takes longer time to enter. this wireless keypad helps me enter the numbers fasters in excel sheet. it also works as calculator. i recommend this product if u have a laptop whose screen size is less than 17 inches and u regularly use excel files. laptops with screen size 17 inches have the numerals arranged like desktop keypads and u dont need to purchase this product. the wireless mouse comes in handy too, although its not absolutely necessary if u like to use the touch pad.

I bought this item not sure if it would work with my new Alum 2.8gig 24" iMac running Leopard. It does! It works out of the box without Logitech software using the USB RF dongle with the extension cable stand. All numeric keypad and silver side keys work except the Media controls. (Maybe they would work, too, if I tried hard enough.) The time, date and temp settings on the display window are internal keypad settings and also work.

I wanted to get a keypad that resembles my Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard that also works with my iMac. This is very close.

I love this thing. The mouse is the perfect size, slightly smaller than the average desktop mouse, yet bigger than most of the wireless/optical ones out there on the market. It doesn't have anything fancy like most other Logitech accessories, just the 3 buttons, but it gets the job done. Although the user manual says you can only go up to 8 inches away with the mouse, Ive gotten up to 5 feet away without any trouble. It also works great and responds well on any surface.

The wireless number pad is just as good. I do a lot of accounting and budgeting projects, so having the number pad for my laptop is awesome, especially since I am frequently on the move. I can even use it like a regular calculator. Oh, and both the pad and the mouse connect with the same USB stick, so only one USB port is used for both items. This product is genius. And 4 AA batteries are included.

The one teensy -weensie problem I have is that the USB stick is a little wobbly. It fits in the port well enough but just kinda looks and feels somewhat loose, but that has not become a problem, so I still give this product 5/5 stars.

this product also works on WINDOWS VISTA, which I wasn't totally sure about at first, since the packaging says XP or 2000, but the software installed quickly and with no hassle.

The overall quality of this item is good. It is what I have come to expect from Logitech. The mouse is very resposive easy to install and use. I like havin the media contols at my fingertips on the numberpad also. My only draw back is the low profile keys, I am a little too fat fingered for them However since it is desgined to be low profiled for packing up wiht your laptop, what are you gnna do right? Still not enough for me to drop the rating from 5 to 4. In addtion the battery life is incredible. Both tools have on/off switches and despite the fact that I leave them on regulary the batteries stay alive a LOOONG time. Very happy with this purchase.
