4.0 out of 5 stars Not just for the Wii! January 14, 2009
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I can't understand why Logitech advertises this solely as a Wii product. It works flawlessly as a PC keyboard as well!

I searched quite a while for a light, compact, easy-to-stow-away wireless keyboard for my home theater media center PC. Every one I found was the same old thing; big standard keyboard, with a mouse, with a big receiver, etc.

Finally I stumbled across this little guy; small, light stylish, keyboard only, and a tiny USB receiver half the size of a pack of chewing gum.

But... the packaging listed support only for the Wii. Wii required!, it said, in big, bold, scary letters.

Well friends, I'm here to tell you that it does *not* require a Wii! it works *perfectly* with my 32-bit Windows XP home install. My PC is locked away in a closet, and this thing has no reception/lost keystroke issues at all from 10 feet away (with a reasonably heavy door in between the receiver and the keyboard)]

To summarize:

>Pros:

>+ Small, lightweight
>+ PC compatibility! Works great with XP
>+ Easy to install, great reception even through walls
>+ Good key feel, similar to a high-quality laptop with a short key throw

<Cons:

<- A little bit expensive. I'd give it a solid no-holds-barred 5 stars if it were thirty-five smackers or less.
<- Slightly cramped arrangement of the arrow keys
<- Product fails to mention PC compatibility! They're sitting on a goldmine here for media center/home theater PC enthusiasts

4.5 stars, highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Wireless Keyboard For The Wii October 27, 2008
Verified Purchase
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This wireless keyboard is great! Small, slim, fits nicely on my lap. Lightweight, but seems pretty durable. Typing on it is fine (and, obviously, much faster than using the Wii remote). Looks great, too, matching the Wii and other accessories.

Set-up was a snap -- put in 2 AA cells (included), plug the wireless receiver into the Wii's USB, flip a switch on the bottom to turn it on. I have two Wii's in adjacent rooms, and the two keyboards do not interfere with each other.

A bit pricy, but I feel it's worth it. Great accessory!

4.0 out of 5 stars Saves time February 16, 2009

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
If you spend a lot of time surfing the net with your Wii, then this keyboard can save time. It has some nice features, such as, zooming and paging up/down/sideways, and there is a place on the bottom of the keyboard to store the usb wireless attachment if you don't want to leave it in the Wii. Keep in mind, the Wii remote is still required much like a mouse or scroll pad etc. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars, because: 1. price 2. no built-in pointing device/mouse/scroll pad 3. doesn't work with all Wii applications 4. doesn't include any information about the function keys..., but the product is made solid and feels comfortable, and definitely makes surfing more enjoyable.

3.0 out of 5 stars really only one small gripe November 28, 2010
After reading the reviews, I bought this to use with my PC.
For the price (under $20 with shipping), the build quality and performance (battery life, range) is decent. No problem using it on my Win7 machine.
Here's my one small gripe- there is no LED indicator for the caps lock button, and I seem to be bumping it a lot.
I am otherwise happy with it. That's my two cents...

5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for gaming ... July 2, 2010
Verified Purchase
This review is being typed on the Wii Logitech keyboard on my iPad. Not only does my Wii keyboard work with my iBook, my iMac, and my HP Mini 1000 (XP SP3), it works with the iPad. True, a warning pops up that says death and destruction will ensue if I continue using it with the iPad, but we all know that's just nonsense.

So at the present price as I write this ($19, eligible for free shipping) this puppy is a steal. It's light, it's compact, and it has a pretty good feel. What's not to like?

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this keyboard! May 3, 2010

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I recently bought this keyboard and I wanted to share my thoughts with the Amazon community. Let's clear up one issue right off the bat. Yes, this keyboard will work with a PC. In fact, I am writing this review with the keyboard synced to my laptop running Windows 7. I can only guess that Logitech doesn't hype this little factoid because they want you to buy separate keyboards for your game consoles and your computers.

Another reviewer incorrectly wrote that the Enter key on this keyboard does not have the same functionality as the Enter key on a PC keyboard. That isn't quite true. I used this keyboard to enter URLs on my PC and hit "Enter" and I was whisked away to my favorite websites with ease. Using the Enter key in this fashion won't work on the Wii but that is because of the console's operating system, not through any fault with the keyboard. In any case, you simply use the "OK" key when using the keyboard with your Wii.

This keyboard is smaller than most PC keyboards. If you look at a standard, full size keyboard and note the distance from the left side all the way to the Backspace, Enter and rightmost Shift key, you'll have a rough idea as to the size of this keyboard. You won't miss any keys though, you still get the number keys, function keys, arrow keys, etc. The only keys I don't see are the ones that are not needed for the Wii such as PrintScreen, the expanded side number keys, etc.

The keyboard itself is light but has a decent feel to its build quality. It won't stand up to the keyboards that cost $100 or more but it is more solid than you'd expect for a third party keyboard for a Nintendo system. It is comfortable to hold in your lap while on the sofa.

The keyboard comes with two AA batteries (WE like that) and a USB receiver.
