"Burning Bush 2.0: How Pop Culture Replaced the Prophet"
Explore a whimsical and sincere examination of the ways God communicates with us—sometimes subtly and secretly—through our media and entertainment streams.
Kyle McDanell is the pastor at Goshen Baptist Church in near Falls of Rough, Kentucky and has been serving there since October 2008. Before serving as pastor he was a youth pastor for about 5 years in his hometown in Northern Kentucky. Kyle is a graduate of Boyce College with a degree in Biblical and Theological studies and received an Advanced Masters at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary also in Biblical and Theological Studies. He is currently pursuing his Th.M in Systematic Theology at Southern Seminary.
Recently, Kyle published his first book titled Logizomai: A Reasonable Faith in an Unreasonable World. The book is about the gospel and how the gospel ought to shape the theology and worldview of Christians. It is time for Christians to take their faith more seriously and be willing and able to articulate their faith in a post-Christian culture for the purpose of evangelism and God's greater glory.
Kyle has been married since July 2006 and has one son named Elijah born in October 2008.
