For a beginner, who is looking for a simple templates to base their logo off of, this is probably a great software. If you have any hopes of taking the existing templates and molding them to your desired look, be prepared to put in some time.
In my case, I wanted to develop a logo and I had some specific ideas of how it should look. I simply needed a starting point, and this software was the only good choice available for immediate download at the time. Let me just say, I was able to develop a logo, but it took some time to do so. The software allows you change fonts, move items around, insert pictures and objects, etc., but the problem is that the menus are not very intuitive. It took me awhile to figure out why the Advanced Tools menu was sometimes available, and at other times not. Of course, I was several logo options into it when I figured this out, which annoyed me. Otherwise, it does provide these options and it definitely has some great starting points.

I got the first version of this, and now?? With Version 4? WOW! HUGE DIFFERENCE! Take your time, learn the program, and your own logo's will be very professional looking. Well worth the $20!

I was hoping this would be a great program for me to design a logo without having any real knowledge of professional programs like photoshop. The concepts in the program are good. But this is literally like you're using Microsoft Word ... 2003 edition. The program is more of a beta (e.g. uncomplete product) than a real program. There are way too many bugs/issues for this to be usable. Instead of buying this product, I would recommend another product (if one exists), or asking a friend who knows how to use photoshop to do one for you.
