5.0 out of 5 stars Very Helpful
This book, like the other LogoLounge's, is very helpful. It shows different logos and always helps me find new solutions from the inspirations in the book.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars okay but not fantastic
this book helps giving ideas about logos.
It gives good exemples, it explains the history about some of them.

It is a good book, but you can easily find a much better one, with more explanations, more details... ( Logology for exemple...)

1.0 out of 5 stars under par, December 23, 2011

The logos in this book is not very impressive. To see the good logos, you also have to endure a vast amount of bad ones ~

4.0 out of 5 stars The Case Studies are the Treasures., April 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Looking at the hundreds of logos can be a great inspiration trigger, but the real treasures are the case studies. It's great to read the story of the journey behind a brand identity. To be let in on the ideas and reasons behind the final designs. Worth the purchase alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cream of the Crop Identity Work, March 30, 2010
The logo work just keeps getting better and better. Bill Garder and his team sift through over 30,000 submitted logos and hand pick a select few to make each one of these great books.

Our design firm Effusion Creative Solutions has made the cut in LogoLounge books 3, 4 & 5 and consider it an honor to be surrounded with fantastic talent that inspired us in the first place. This book does not disappoint, we highly recommend it to every level of designer out there looking to get inspired.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational!, February 20, 2009

This review is from: LogoLounge 4: 2000 International Identities by Leading Designers (v. 4) (Hardcover)
I do a lot of logo designing, and I have to say that this book is great for inspiration. Anytime I want just an idea, I can pick this up, turn to a category, and look at other designs easy. This book also has a number of detailed reports at the beginning that explain some popular brands and the designers who created them. It has their process and even what they did for inspiration. It's not only great for inspiration, but good for thinking outside the box! Great series!

I have all the Logo Lounge series 1-4 and they are all great inspirational books to give you excellent ideas. I like that the book has the name of the designer and the client's name listed for each logo. Well orgainized catagories. Great logos too. A must buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, nearly Great., November 22, 2008

This continues to be a "must have" reference book for designers. Well organized it is a comprehensive snap shot of mainstream logo design. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that this series does not try to be progressive, but has found a comfortable place square in the middle. Not to worry, just look to the Los Logos series if you seek progressive inspiration. Nevertheless, LogoLounge 4 is a great guideline for how to make a responsible logo that fits in with Corporate America.
