Every designer, freelancer or design firm hits an inspirational wall. Sometimes all it takes is a little creative push to help those imaginative juices flowing with effusion.

LogoLounge 5 is the latest inspiration for all those that help to brand companies for a living. Another great feature are their spotlight case studies that take you through the process and how it was ultimately implemented. Do yourself a favor get this book. One of the best books the LogoLounge team has put out to date.

LogoLounge 5, the latest in the LogoLounge series, is filled with solid examples of corporate brand-marks. Not necessarily progressive in its intent, very few of the logos shown in this book break any new ground. Nevertheless LogoLounge 5 is an accurate snapshot of contemporary logotype design. Filled with cleverly abstracted ideas and smart graphic interpretations I would recommend this book for most logo designers.

I love these books for inspiration and thought I would try the digital version, since my art book collection is too heavy to travel with. I found the logos too small to view properly especially the crest logos and scripts. If you chose to enlarge the pic, the logo just got digitized and even harder to view. Still love the hard copies, just not the digital version... It needs some work.

This book is much like its predecessors. Tons of logos. Most of them are very nice. The case-study articles in the front are interesting as usual.

One funny thing is that one of the featured logos, the Woolworth's one with a 4-page article about it, is currently involved in a legal dispute initiated by Apple. I guess no one could see that coming!

As with the previous 4 books in the series, a fantastic resource for logo design!
About 100 pages of categorized logos, neatly laid out with 20 colour logos per page.
Also has another 50 or so pages profiles/ideas/workings behind some of the designs.
One of my favorite logo books ever!
A MUST have.

One Simple comment or actually a question.
What is the percentage of the claimed 2000 logos in this very book that are authenticated of being for real companies, active businesses or existing institutions? 20%, 30% ? or more less?

This is a fantastic book for graphic designers in particular to show a variety of different styles of logos within the different categories of "types" of logos. A way for you to categorize your approach to logo design.

These logo lounge books have been a pleasure for me to read and look through. They help me come up with new ideas and new ways to look at a business. They are just great. I can't wait until the next one comes out.

I've bought a few of these Logo Lounge books. They work well for inspiration when designing logos. I wouldn't say all of the logos are top notch but there are some cool designs amongst the filler.
