This is truely a 'theurgist's cookbook' if there ever was one. It goes at length to detail information about the nature of angels, demons, the soul, religion, alchemy and theurgy, all mostly related to the use of the word. Powerful invocations, conjurations, protection magick, elemental magick, exorcism, past life recall, and a toolchest full of mantras for astral travel and development of the chakras in different ways for specific results. A must have for someone looking to become a white magician on the path to self-realization of the being, according to the tradition of Samael Aun Weor.

A great book from Samael Aun Weor that outlines and provides the reader with a wealthy amount of practices in order to enter into real practical experience. Within the book is contained conjurations and their explanations, mantras to develop one's chakras, practices to awaken clairvoyance and remember past lives, and a lot more.

As with any book from this author, he writes from his own experience and knowledge and as such all of his practices are both real and practical. What is required is patience and a willingness to change one's way of thinking...

I am not a devotee of the author but I am a scholarly type when it comes to religion, so was very surprised when a friend handed me this book. It contains many unusual practices found in the teachings of Eliphas Levi and South American Shamans. What is also unusual about this book is that the author describes his own inner experiences using many of the practices. The book is translated from Spanish and reads like it was written by someone who spent a lot of time in the Amazon doing practices, not like the typical American book on ritual magic that has to give an intro on western psychology and Jungian archetypes. Very interesting book as it is rare to find so many practices in one place openly. Very interesting

I've had amazing results with the vowel "Ee" in activating my Sahasrara chakra and my Ajna Chakra. Coupled with the meditation course on (...), where they teach a Pranayama(Energy Restraint) method that is ecstatic, I've been enjoying my meditations rather than dreading them! I definetly recommend learning to vocalize and even applying it to your spontaneous prayer because for me atleast it seems to carry more weight in my efforts and it becomes much easier to avoid daydreaming.

This book is a compilation of three books: Logos Mantra Theurgy (1959), The Esoteric Treatise of Theurgy (1959), and The Seven Words (1953).

As I am reading the books of the V.M. Samael Aun Weor according to the order in which he wrote his books, I will begin this review with the book `The Seven Words'. It appears that the last English published book prior to `The Seven Words" was "Occult Medicine & Practical Magic"; I will therefore make comment on those books, that have not been published in English, between these 2 books.

The books of Samael follow his initiatic spiritual processes. If you read my reviews on `Occult Medicine' & `Secret Notes of a Guru', you will see that Samael has raised the Kundalini for the Etheric and Astral Bodies while writing these books. From `The Seven Words' Samael tells us,"In the Second Initiation of Greater Mysteries, we are baptized with water, and in the Third Initiation of Greater Mysteries, we are baptized with the fire of the Holy Spirit. John baptized us with water, Christ baptizes us with Fire." In esoteric wisdom, we see the exoteric story of John the Baptist, coincides with the creation of the Etheric body; while the crucifixion of Christ, coincides esoterically with raising the Kundalini of the Astral Body. This goes beyond the subjective theories of pseudo spiritualism.

`The Seven Words' gives us the intricate internal spiritual experiences of a master while raising the Kundalini, associated with the astral body. "The seven words correspond to the seven degrees of the Power of Fire and to the seven tongues of the burning fire of the Dragon of Wisdom." The drama of Christ is 100% connected with the creation of this Astral Body.

These are the works by the V.M. Samael between `Occult Medicine' & `Secret Notes of a Guru': 1) Gnostic Catechism (1952): Christ resides as head above all religion, sects and faiths 2) Christ Consciousness (1952) Samael tells us how to obtain Christ Consciousness. Chapters: Love, Consciousness, Meditation, The Woman (Alchemy), Music, The Trinity, Simplicity, The magic power (Faith), Holiness. 3) The Power is in the Cross: "The cross covers the entire gamut, the entire range of the actions (intersection) of nature" 4) The Book of the Virgin of Carmen: This deals with Mary, the mother of Jesus, whom we can talk with, along with Christ, in the Holy Gnostic Church, which resides in the Astral plane. The above 4 immediate mentioned books, may be obtained in one book (SPANISH) ISBN: 8488625367. 5) Supreme Christmas Message 24 Dec 1952: "All authentic Christianity has its roots in the Sacred Order of Melchizedek, King of fire,", "Solid food can only be given to those who already know good and evil", "It is indispensable that we Christify ourselves in order to achieve union with the Father."," Only he who has formed Christ in his interior is a Master."," There is a need to pass through the death of the cross, in order to be able to resurrect among the living dead", "when you form Christ within you, you will unite with your Intimate, and you will convert yourselves into omnipotent Flames of the Universe."

This is a very brief look at these books; of course much more can be said. These books are small books, most of which I had difficulty obtaining in word and PDF format. I relay these books also to show that from the book "Occult Medicine" to `Secret Notes of a Guru", all of these books have a direct connection to the Internal Christification process, associated with raising the Kundalini of the Astral Body.

I will attempt to provide reviews later for the other 2 books of `Logos Mantra Theurgy' and `The Esoteric Treatise of Theurgy'.
