I purchased this call for my bf to communicate with our semi-wild pet ducks. While they never actually "communicated" with him (or at least I hope not), it did work to call them home for the night once they started flying. If one fell behind or landed we could successfully call the others to keep the group together and safe. I have no clue whether or not this call would be good for hunting purposes but, as you could probably guess I don't condone the hunting or munching of duck for sport. The call was relatively cheap considering the $300 one that Outdoor World stocks. It also works very well if you know that you blow into the large end, as this was a three week challenge for us, duh! Over all I was happy and it entertained the easily amused for a while.

THIS duck call is made of real wood that gives it the best tone i have been using it for a long time know and i never had any complaint i also have a hunting store witch i sell this item and every body likes it the company of this duck call is trust worthy and they stand behind their product i highly recommend this product you wont regret it .

A friend has a duck call he paid almost $100 for and it's no better than this one. This is a can't go wrong buy.

Ordered 24 of this to use as gag gifts for Christmas. They arrived quickly and all were in A-1 condition.
