5.0 out of 5 stars House at Its Best!
If it weren't for Sirius satellite radio I wouldn't know about this song at all. I love house, trance, hardcore...... etc. These are all genres of music not normally heard on American radio, and I am far removed from the club scene these days, as a busy mother of two. I love house, trance, hardcore...... etc. These are all genres of music not normally heard on American radio, and I am far removed from the club scene these days, as a busy mother of two. I love this song! This is what house should sound like: the retro-disco feel, the fantastic bassline; this song plus the remix of George Michael's "Flawless" are fantastic tunes that make you feel good and linger in your head all day. Yet does it feel like an intrusion? Heck no, it's a party! Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Release those endorphins!, November 28, 2004

I remember hearing this song on C89.5 FM in Seattle on my alarm clock one morning, and thought to myself, "Self. This song is rockin'!" If I hadn't picked up the Ministry of Sound: The Annual 2005 box set a little while ago, I would have never known what this song was called. If you like peppy, feel-good house music reminiscent of when house was still young, you'll LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song! Get it now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Enough hooks to catch many fish, April 2, 2005
This review is from: Lola's Theme (Audio CD)
This song is instantly great, from the first listen of the tune, it just stays in your head, refusing to not let go. In the past few years, dance music in general has sounded similar, but the Shapeshifters have excellently done this song. An excellent remix that the Shapeshifters have done is a remix of George Michael's 2004 single, "Flawless (Go to the city)"

5.0 out of 5 stars This is what a dance song should be like!!!!, October 18, 2004

As a gay male, I must admit that I'm not a big fan of dance music because it all sounds so repetitive. I heard this song and all I have to say is WOW!!! This is what a dance song should sound like and kudos goes to Shapeshifters for sampling one of the greatest R & B treasures from the legendary Johnnie Taylor "What About My Love". Sampling I also must admit is overdone, but this is the rare case where it works perfectly!!! One of the best dance songs ever. It's a song where you instantly fall in love with it when you first hear and it stays on your mind after it goes off.

I can't get this song out of my head! And that's a good thing! An outstanding blend of sample, voice, pace, and lyrics! Has to be the 2004 house/dance music song of the year!

I have listened to it hundreds of times, in any of the countries I have been to, as it has been a huge hit in Europe this summer. I love it!! Another great tune from Positiva!

Unfortunately, you have to go to Europe to keep up on this House Band. They only get fringe play in the US. XM radio will play theirs tracks occassionally. This group is truly a hidden treasure. Buy this ... you will enjoy all tracks.

This is an amazing song - I can't stop listening to it! Clearly a huge hit in the UK this summer - hopefully it gets as popular here in Canada.

3.0 out of 5 stars i wouldn't call it a "summer anthem", May 1, 2005
This review is from: Lola's Theme (Audio CD)
I first heard this song via MTV Europe. I liked the video (shows 2 teenagers having a date at a fair) more than the song in the beginning. But the song is low key and catchy at the same time so it grows on you. It was a big hit, but there were so many more dance-able songs last summer...
The radio edit of the song already sounds like a remix because of the endless loop of the chorus. So the remixes on the single are wasted on me. Overall it's an o.k. song.
