Like the product, but almost didn't make it intact,

The product is very good quality as I've known the brand for a while, so I didn't doubt the craftmanship at all. However, it almost didn't make it without breaking as the packaging wasn't complete and the shipping materials used were insufficient for a glassware product. The cover for the original packaging from the manufacturer (Lolita) was missing, which allowed the glass to slide in and out of it throughout the shipping process. And, only a few squares of the large bubble protective packaging were in the box. When I opened the package, the glass was halfway out of the manufacturer's tube (box) and exposed to the exterior of the box it was shipped in, with no protection around it. Honestly amazed it didn't break. I would have probably returned the product on principle alone if I didn't need it for a gift within the week.

Unique Wine Glass,

I've used Lolita products for several years now ranging from Lolita's martini glasses to coffee mugs. In the past, I usually bought Lolita products from a local gift store that carried their products. Since I'm a fan of sampling all dark wines, especially red wines ranging from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Barbera, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Chianti, and some red dessert port, I decided to order this wine glass from Amazon. Just like another Amazon reviewer said, this is a "Unisex" design. Both males and females can drink from this wine glass. The design is perfect and versatile for wine sampling with the different color of grapes and wine bottles on the glass. The wine glass arrives in a nice tube-like box with many photos of Lolita's different wine glass patterns. I really like the wine recipe on the bottom of the box and wine glass: "Wine Tasting: Fill with favorite wine, splash of ginger ale, splash of lemon line soda". The 15 oz. wine glass is nice, but like another Amazon reviewer, suspect828, said, it is kind of scary the way that this wine glass is packaged. The lid to the tube box is not taped, so if the lid comes off during delivery, the wine glass would arrive broken. There was no bubble wrap around the wine glass either, and the silica gel packet was open with little gel beads swirling around the bag inside the wine glass box. I ordered some of Lolita's stemless wine glasses as well from Amazon, and for the first time in a long time, I had a stemless wine glass arrive entirely broken, and another stemless wine glass with a chip, and another stemless wine glass that had bubbles in the glass. I really like the concept of Lolita's glass wine, martini, and coffee cups. All of the glasses have personalities of their own and are very amusing to look at and use. My warning to you is to not expect the glasses to be the most durable. There's a reason why they say that these glasses can only be washed by hand. I'm satisfied with the wine glass artwork, wine recipe, and wine box. I'm disappointed with the glass quality and the way that these glasses are packaged during delivery. In my opinion, the best way to buy Lolita glasses is by going physically to a store that sells these glasses and inspecting them in person before buying. Or if you really need to buy these Lolita glasses online, my suggestion is to buy a few glasses at at time, and to type comments on instruction/suggestion box in advance to request that they package the wine glasses nicely.

I bought this for my friends birthday, its quality work and good heavy glass with beautiful painting. Friend loves it. Im buying another one for myself.
