Decent rock, but a mixed bag, February 17, 2008

Overall, the CD has some decent rockin' tunes. If you like your rock music loud, then this is the album for you.
Cigarettello - A decent enough rockin' song. 8/10
Frank-n-Bruce - An OK enough song. 5/10
Turn - Another OK song. 5/10
Nude - One of my favorite songs on the CD. Much deeper meaning than the title suggests. 9/10
Lolitaville - Another good song. It makes you want to lock your daughters safely away. 9/10
Angel Killer - Another OK song. 5/10
The Chicken Won't Stop - A catchy tune with strange lyrics. 8/10
Rape of the Vespers - My favorite song on the album. A good rock song. 10/10
Pursuer - I didn't care much for this one. A lot of it had to do with the funny way he pronounced the word "pursuer." 3/10
Palm Beach - White guys can't rap and this song gets very repetitious. 1/10
Fixed - I could almost like this song, but there was way too much musical "noise" (guitar feedback, etc) in it for my taste. 3/10
The Bad Son - Another good rock song. 8/10

You'll love this if..., November 23, 2005

...you like the Pixies and Husker Du, the two most obvious influences on The Holy Terrors. The amazing thing is that this relatively obscure South Florida band is easily in the same league. Singer-guitarist Rob Elba has a knack for indelible melodies, Lead guitarist Dan Hosker comes up with an endless supply of killer riffs, and the whole band plays with incredible intensity. Definitely the best band you've never heard of.
