This product is great for those meals when you have no time or patience for a larger meal plan, and it is so handy for any camping or trips where vegetarian food may be scarce. It can be added to any rice or noodle dish, or eaten plain with vegetables. The taste is pleasing.

Meat imitations can taste awful, but not this one! Very delicious. I haven't had it in a long time because it's a bit out of my budget, but I sure miss it. Everytime I pass it at the grocery store, I always look at the price, hoping for a sale. Makes a great quick meal. Goes great with leftover rice.

Its soy people. And soy cannot a chicken be. However, this is delicious. I'm not even a vegetarian and I tend to prefer this to meat. It tastes good (meaty but not meat), and it's much lighter in my stomach than actual meat. I feel much better after eating it than I do after eating meat.
AMAZON! BRING IT BACK!!

I have been eating this fake chicken since I was a kid; hence using the word fake. We in our household just love this. It is easy, healthy and it tastes wonderful. You can eat it out of the can or cooked in many ways, as you would real chicken. It tastes better than real meat, but does take acquired tasted.

What this product is not is most certianly chicken. It was a grievous error for Loma Linda to market as such. But assuming it's not going to look, or taste or feel like chicken what we can say is that it's delicious. It goes well into just about everything. If you are a new vegetarian or a well established one this is a great product. It's just not chicken

If you expect it to taste like fried chicken, you will be disappointed as the other reviewer was. BUT..........if you just enjoy it for how it tastes it is great! Quick meals galore, add to rice, stuffing, or pasta. You can even clean off the gravy and BBQ it! I think it is one of the better tasting "fake" meats around.

A review for the serious vergetarian,

Hello first of all I if you haven't already seen my star rating for this item, I've rated it 4 stars. And I meant every one of them. However this is just the opinion of one person (myself).
When reading reviews something to consider is the fact that we all have different taste buds. While this product may taste great to me, it may taste like garbage to you. That being said here is my critical review of this product. 1. Does not taste exactly like chicken, however it is a great chicken alternative that taste somewhat like chicken. It does taste good. 2. The consistency is excellent. It's just the right thickness that you can easily cut with a fork. 3. Flavor is good by itself, but for those of you who require a little bit more, I suggest using "Seasoning Salt" and some "Black Pepper" or whatever you prefer... Garlic maybe? 4. Taste best with rice or noodles. There's my review. Please consider...

These fried chik'n cutlets are a huge favorite around our house. I'm vegetarian, and the others are not, but we eat vegetarian within our walls. This chik'n has been a real hit, both as a meat-substitute item for a main dish (just thicken the gravy a bit), and chopped for turning into casseroles and rice dishes.
The prices on these products are excellent compared to buying single hard-to-find cans on a grocery shelf. I buy this one on subscription every two months, because it is so useful.

These are really fantastic! They actually taste almost exactly like Tender Rounds, but with a different texture. The family loves them!

My family loves this vegetarian meat substitute. I ordered a case. The price was good. It was shipped promptly. The only downside was that 9 of the 12 cans were bent and/or crunched up - which most stores either discard or discount. For this reason, I will not re-order this item.
