I just received this as a Christmas gift and it is exquisitely beautiful! The attention to detail is amazing! There is a 22k gold design around the inside top edge of the cup that cannot be seen in this photo. Another great detail is a small notch at the bottom of the handle that rests on one of your fingers to steady the cup. The color is a brilliant sapphire blue with a full range of lights, mediums and darks. It is an amazing piece and you won't be disappointed with it. The lid does have one particular way to put it on to fit properly so you need to keep turning it until it fits well.
