My husband usually wears a 42L in a blazer, and I ordered the same in this coat. It is far too large. The major problem is through the chest -- it's just huge. We can not order down because then the hips & legs would be too tight.

Otherwise, it is a nice coat. The zip-out lining is warm (say, down to 10 degrees or so), and the coat is water repellent.

My husband really liked this coat. Pity about the sizing.

This medium-weight medium-length overcoat is great for the Fall weather. Fits perfectly over a suit. No need to order a larger size. Inner lining zips in/out and the outer shell is weather resistant. Great for that in-between season when wool is too warm.

I wear suits or dress up sport coat and slacks daily; It is late winter early spring and I wanted to get a new rain coat with a zip out liner; This coat arrived and I was impressed by the fit, finish and liner for the price, all in all, and the thing being a Chinese coat purchased over the Internet.

This is a coat to be worn over a suit, it will not fit true to suit size, it will be big, and fit over an undershirt, dress shirt, suit and tie. This is not the softest, dressiest material, although it is totally fitting to wear over a suit. THe only reason its 4 out of 5 stars is because of the material- really its closer to 5 stars.

The coat in the picture has a warm and pressed look. In reality, the color is more ashy and is not very pressed. It fits rather poorly, but it seems like an all-weather jacket. If I had known what it is really like, I would not have bought it.

Quality of London Fog is very good in all products. When I was in New york city 1969-71 and 1993-95, I purchased almost all the coats, long and/or short by London Fog. Prices are reasonable not like Hermes and Loui Vuitton.
