The book description is accurate. This book includes the complete 1659 census for Derry (Northern Ireland) as wel as much more, coats of arms, listing of modern parishes and placenames... great research guide!!

I did not find this book very useful. In some instances I know where in the county my family is from from death certificates and such, I was hoping this book would provide further insight and be another source of validation. The lists and pages contained within are all partial, and even when I did locate one of my surnames there wasn't enough information provided to connect it to the tree.

The book seemed to be a smattering of available research sites. There was an emphasis on the nobility. A genealogist I have worked with said she hoped I hadn't paid too much for the book. I liked a picture of the are, but not much else.
