Just Don't know,

Story was well written but not a very invigorating plot.
No felt passion. excellent characters and in keeping with the time line of the other stories of these characters. James Webster's story is nicked into Brace Caulfield and his wife Sarah [TEXAS LAWMAN]as he takes on the ranch for Sarah's nephew. Jamie is the brother of Connor Webster [OKLAHOMA SWEETHEART] who married the girl Jamie got pregnant. Connor's sweetheart. Well, 8 years later, Jamie has changed his tune and his ways as he courts Alexis Powers. No hanky panky here. Just marriage. The danger to Alexis peters out after the canyon episode but she is already married and pregnant by then. The women turn out to be the central bonding story - the men just seem to be in the background. Very slow reading for me -

Carolyn Davidson is an outstanding author. Her books are interesting, catch your interest on page one and continue to hold you until the last page. I've emailed Carolyn and she was nice enough to return my request. If she write it, I'll buy it.
This order came fast, the book was new and ready to read. |
