Don Graham is J. Frank Dobie Regents Professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin. A writer-at-large with Texas Monthly Magazine, he is also the author of Kings of Texas.

If you are new to the State of Texas or just want to learn more about the Texas mystique, these stories are for you.
I read this book for a graduate school class at SMU. The compilation sits proudly on my bookshelf as my favorite book.
