Without exaggeration, this is the best book to date documenting rustic western interiors. The extraordinary Cowboy and Indian memorabilia collections featured in these homes will make you green with envy. Large, beautiful photographs of exceptional Texas homes, no sterile contemporary interiors here. I've always admired Beard and Parsons work, this is the best to date. No disappointments here!

I used this book for reference for building a cabin out in the Texas Hill Country. Great source for inspiration.

Disappointed in photos. I am from Texas and expected so much more. There are so many options here to use and missed the mark. I returned my copy. Something that I rarely bother to do.

This hardcover book about Texas homes is fantastic. The photography of both exterior and interior shots of these homes is gorgeous. Whether you appreciate Texas architecture, ranches or modern living, this book covers it all very nicely. Anytime we have out of state guests in town I place this book on the coffee table and it is always read through from front to back. This book would also be a great source of ideas for decorating Texas style!

If you like decorating your space in western,country,or rustic ranch style, Tyler Beard's book is great.He and his wife Theresa had a gift for spotting wonderful things that we can find or closely duplicate. I love this book and never tire of looking thru its pages.

This book is fantastic...I wish they would come out with a "Lone Star Living II" and then III, IV, V....you get the idea. I can't get enough of the style, culture, history, etc. It's a fantastic look into Texas culture. 100% worth the read.

I loved this book. It arrived in better condition than the seller claimed. It also arrived before I had planned. I will definetely buy from this seller again.

I think I would like this book, but...the quote on p. 174: "Charles and Rennie Mackintosh" makes me wonder...

If the authors and editors can mess up the name of one of the greatest architects of our time (Charles Rennie Mackintosh was one person, not two), I wonder what ELSE might be incorrect in this book...???
