Chalk it up to their Texas-meets-Tennessee grit and tenacity, but there’s nothing Lonestar loves more than a challenge. 500 concerts in their first two years. Crossing over from country to pop and back again after no one else topped both charts at the same time since 1983. Selling 10 million albums, landing ten top 10 country hits and… Read more in Amazon's Lonestar Store

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank God I Finally Got This CD!, February 3, 2000
By
Gerald (Gifu City, JAPAN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lonely Grill (Audio CD)
When I heard for the first time the song "Amazed", it instantly made me fall in love to this very powerful song. I would consider this as one of the greatest love songs ever written. I was not aware that this is also a "country" song like the song "How Do I Live" by Teann Rhimes which has a mixture of pop and country. This song really touched my heart and the melody gives me goose bumps every time I hear it played on the air. I don't know why I can't find this CD here in Japan so I bought it online at Amazon.com. I also liked the song "Smile", "Simple As That", "You Don't Know What Love Is", "Lonely Grill" and "Everything's Changed", almost every song in the CD is great so this CD is all your money's worth. Ever since I heard the song "Amazed" I became a country music fan especially of Lonestar. That's why I ordered all of their three albums! Great work guys! You deserve all the best! Congratulations Lonestar to your success and may you continue to amaze us with your music for a long, long time!

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite CD, January 10, 2000
This review is from: Lonely Grill (Audio CD)
I bought this CD right after it was released just for the song Amazed. After listening to all of the songs, though, this has become my favorite CD of all. I've bought some CDs where I liked only two or three songs, but that is not the case here. I like every song, especially Amazed, Tell Her, Smile, Lonely Grill, and Everything's changed. Anyone who buys this CD is certainly getting their money's worth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hands down, the best country album of the millenium., July 14, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Lonely Grill (Audio CD)
There is not one weak track on this entire CD. It begins with "Saturday Night," a refreshingly different kind of rocking country. "Simple as That" is a catchy, fun track sure to reach the number one position. Then, the song of the year, "Amazed," which is the best song on this CD. "What About Now" captures the feelings of anyone who just wants to break free, and is followed by the touching "Tell Her"and the down-right hilarious "Don't Let's Talk About Lisa." "I've Gotta Find You" is an extraordinarily personal and beautiful song, and probably the best on the CD behind "Amazed." "You Don't Know What Love Is" and "All the Way" are fun tunes that lead up to the heartbreaking "Smile." Then the most surprising song on the album is definitely the anger-laced "Lonely Grill." The bonus track is an acoustic version of last year's hit "Everything's Changed." Lonestar is country's most overlooked talent, but hopefully this album will give them the recognition that they so rightly deserve.
