Lonely People by America is a classic from the mid 1970's. Dan Peek wrote and sings lead on the song. It was released in 1974 and quickly moved up the charts in the US. It peaked at number 5 on the Billboard singles chart, 4 on the Radio & Records singles chart, 10 on the Cashbox singles chart, and number 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
It was produced by legendary Beatles producer, Sir George Martin. |
