Disappointed,

This review is from: Lonely Planet Brittany & Normandy (Regional Travel Guide) (Paperback)
I was sorely disappointed with this book! I purchased it because all of the other Lonely Planet books I own are so helpful and informative. There was not much to like about this book--it was hard to navigate, did not have much useful information, and needed more maps of the region and different areas. Perhaps if one was familiar with the area, this book would have been helpful, but for someone who didn't know much about Brittany, this book made it even more confusing.
I hardly used this book at all, but maybe someone else might find it useful. I would encourage anyone to try to find it at your local library before purchasing it, if you can. I tried to do that before I bought it, but it was a hard book to find. Maybe I know why now.

I am a longtime devotee of Lonely Planet, but was sorely disappointed in this book. I thought since its scope was so narrow - just 2 regions - it would be really in depth. Nope. There is only a page or two on each town, even the ones with major attractions, and little to no practical information. I ended up having to use TripAdvisor to find hotels, Google to print maps, etc. A waste of money.
