While I have never been to Corfu and the Islands, just the picture alone invokes a sense of calm. A most enticing picture graces the cover pulling you in. One half expects to find a God or Goddess arriving there to greet you. Lonely Planets are among the best of the Travel Genres. There are only two series that I really read and it's this series and Rick Steves. I have plan to visit Greece and one stop will be Corfu. There are websites, facts and Statistics that can can be accessed and read. Over all a very nice book and one to help warm the cold winter nights, with thoughts of very sunny days. Recommended.
