The Gambia and Senegal is a very informative book about the two countries on the Western coast of Africa. Contains a brief but detailed history on the two countries and also contains information about the culture of the countries. I wouldn't buy it to simply learn the history of the countries because it is in fact a guidebook, but on the whole it is a good book that is well written and very informative.
