Good, well organized, clear book. The book is somewhat out of date and needs to be updated (examples: bus from Srinigar to Leh is no longer realistically feasible because of the political situation in Kashmir; rupee to dollar conversions and tipping suggestions are no longer even close to correct), but is overall valuable. For one interested in Ladakh, I particularly liked the brief section giving useful phrases in Ladakhi and Hindi. I found the book useful, although it would be even better if it were updated.
