This is a wonderfully informative book, filled with something for everyone. I bought the book primarily for the history chapters -- I'd just returned from a trip to Namibia and wanted to know more about the country. And I became well-educated thanks to this book. But there's so much more -- travel recommendations, weather, culture, maps, photos, everything a traveler will want to know before going. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Namibia, not just those traveling to the country.
