This review is from: Lonely Planet Korean Phrasebook (Language Survival Kit) (Paperback)
The pocket size makes it easy to carry while travelling. But because of its size, the fonts are small! But the book tries to put in culture and extra infor that can make refering to it difficult when the situation is urgent. The book is divided into numerous chapters like greetings, transport, shopping, restaurants etc and have a glossary of English to Korean words at the back for easy reference. Categorise by statements which is followed by the romanised version for pronouciation and then the korean characters at the side. Its good so you can point to the korean characters for communication if the pronouciation is too much. The problem with it is it does not have a korean to English glossary so only English speakers can use it.

I HAVE USED MANY PHRASE BOOKS IN THE PAST, BUT THIS ONE IS EXCEPITONAL. THE GRAMMAR SECTION IS THE MOST COMPLETE OF ANY I'VE SEEN. THE PRINT IS EASY TO READ. THERE ARE TIPS AND NOTES THROUGH OUT THE BOOK. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
