This review is from: The Loners: The Secret Lives of Super Heroes (Paperback)
This is the story of a self help group for second tier (or lower) superheroes living in California. They are all out of the "Business", or so they claim, after Marvel's Superhero Registration Act. But can they all really go cold turkey? Some of the characterization seems off from previous stories of these characters, but most are so little known in the Marvel Universe that it's not really a problem. Across the six chapters each former hero has the spotlight turned on them individually and you find out what makes them who they are today. It is a Marvel comic so you know it's not just a group session in a church basement though, and you do get some superhero action. Art is good for the story being told.
