Wonderful read,
This review is from: Lonetree Ranchers: Brant (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is wonderful. It's warm, sensual, and very funny. Ms. Denosky is a terrific writer. I couldn't put this book down and then ordered the brothers' stories.

Amazing!!!!!!!,

This review is from: Lonetree Ranchers: Colt (Mass Market Paperback)
This boook was, simply put, amazing. I read it in one fantasy filled night. The characters (my favorite is Colt) were so real that I could almost taste them. I nearly cried multiple times, especially when Colt was being the sweetie-pie that he is. I only wish that there were men like Colt in this world that I could wrap my arms around. In any case, I know I will be reading more by Denosky.

The Honorable Cowboy: Colt WakefieldHis Profile: intrepid, impassioned, and irresistable His Soft Spot: his newly discovered daughter All it took was one glance at the toddler in Kaylee Simpson's arms for Colt to know the two-year-old was his. Duty demanded that he do right by mother and child so he swept them off to his ranch to set up house. Trouble was, spending day and night in such close proximity with beautiful Kaylee made the rodeo heartthrob realize that she still stoked his passion and commandeered his dreams. Although Kaylee resisted her attraction to him with all her might, he knew he'd do almost anything to win her trust and claim her as his own, once and for all.

Nice Story with Memorable Characters,

This review is from: Lonetree Ranchers (Desire) (Paperback)
Anastasia Devereaux has just found out that Patrick Elsworth is embezzling from her Grandmother. Anastasia confronts Patrick in a hotel room and he threatens her life. In order to escape from him, she climbs out the fifth floor window and attempts to jump to the next room's balcony.
Brant Wakefield is a bullfighter in the rodeo and happens to be staying at the same hotel. When a pretty blond woman knocks on his balcony door, he lets her in and is quickly sucked in to protecting this damsel in distress. Brant quickly comes up with a way of keeping Anastasia (who he's renamed Annie) safe and away from Patrick Elsworth. She will just travel with him for the next few days... so Annie and Brant shuffle between rodeos and his family's ranch in Wyoming. They are able to keep a few steps ahead of Patrick, but are finding that they are keeping step with each other. Common sense tells them to not get involved. Can there really be a future for a bullfighter and a woman who he sees as being born with a silver spoon? This story is full of great characters and is the start to Kathie DeNosky's Lonetree Ranchers Series.

Although personally I don't feel this is the best book in the series it wraps the story up. The first two Lonetree Ranchers: Brant and Lonetree Ranchers: Morgan were better.

THE GALLANT COWBOY: Brant Wakefield
HIS PROFILE: Daring, dependable and devastatingly handsome HIS SOFT SPOT: Damsels in distress When Brant found a lovely lady knocking on his hotel balcony door, he was intrigued. And when he discovered that Annie Deveraux was hiding from a spurned suitor, his code of honor demanded that he help her. But once he whisked her away to his ranch for safekeeping, he was beset with incomprehensible yearnings. For although he was boots and tight-fitting jeans and she was pearls and pink sweater sets, Annie affected him like no other woman ever had. And the more time Brant spent with the innocent virgin, the more he realized that, although he mustn't touch Annie, he couldn't let her go... 1st in the Lonetree Ranchers series. |
