Definitive MMM, December 8, 2009
In my opinion this is the best lp that Michael Martin Murphey ever released. Typical of Murphey, the styles range from folk to rock to jazz to just about any other genre; even a touch if medieval madrigal in 'The Wandering Minstrel,' and a touch of nostalgia in 'Yellow House,' while 'Lady of Santa Fe' has such an infectious rhythm I defy anyone to listen to it and not feel uplifted. I am a great fan of his earlier work (70's and 80's), and only wish this was available on CD.
