Yo yo yo this album is the dopest cd i've ever got g. This has g bangin lyrics and phat beats. Daz is the best rapper out there g. All the songs thump my Alpine 18s hardcore. Anyone who doesn't have this cd should go pick it up cuz its tight. They'll hear you comin after you do g. JT tha Bigga Figga helps Daz put down the dope rhymes. This cd is gonna go 3 times platinum...

3.0 out of 5 stars Deceiving
I'm really sorry to disagree with the other reviewers but I think it was a dissapointment. For a few reasons. First of all, in my opinion Daz and JT are two of the best rappers/producers in the game right now. But none of the tracks are produced by any of them. The beats are by Sean T, who is good, but I don't think he can handle a whole . Secondly, if you think that this...

4.0 out of 5 stars A little too short, July 1, 2001

This review is from: Long Beach 2 Fillmoe (Audio CD)
There were some recycled tracks on here, so that took away from this release, but the tracks were definitely off the chain. One of the best form the Bay working with THE best rapper out Southern Califonia? It was bound to be tight. I really loved "Playin Hard" even though Daz wasn't on it, "Think Smart" cause San Quinn came way to vicious on this kicked back beat. "Still Hustling" has to be dope, it got a funky beat and when Daz busts, it makes me nod my head and just say "Hell Yeah." "Street Life" has to be my favorite since the beat is gangsta to the fullest and Daz's opening verse is enough to make the album worth buying. I know it seems that I enjoyed the tracks only with Daz on them, but this album is a great representation of the best SoCal rapper teamed up with, in my opinion, the best region in rap music, The Bay.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good/Odd collabo, December 9, 2004

Daz & JT are together in an odd combination to bring a pretty good album. It only has 12 songs, 2 of which have neither Daz or JT on it, and only 7 have both of them on it, and it has a lot of guests. Better than there "Game For Sale" album. Unfortunately Daz or JT didn't produce 1 song on here, all were done by Sean T. It has 1 classic and a few good songs, with 2 that I skip, and the rest being average.

#1 - 8 (Daz, JT, Telly Mac)
#2 - 8.5 (JT, Cosmo, Commisiona -- good beat)
#3 - 10 (classic w/ great beat -- Daz, JT, Telly Mac)
#4 - 7.5 (daz & c-style -- also on Daz' "R.A.W.")
#5 - 5.5 (JT, Play P, commissiona)
#6 - 7.5 (daz, jacka, jt, buddah, commisiona)
#7 - 8 (san quinn & Pookey -- slower/deeper song)
#8 - 8 (daz, jt, telly mac, cosmo)
#9 - 8 (daz, jt, telly mac)
#10 - 7.5 (jt, killa tay, cosmo)
#11 - 6 (daz, jt, telly mac, killa tay)
#12 - 7 (telly mac, commssiona, guce)

First of all, in my opinion Daz and JT are two of the best rappers/producers in the game right now. But none of the tracks are produced by any of them. The beats are by Sean T, who is good, but I don't think he can handle a whole . Secondly, if you think that this is a Daz/JT album, you're dead wrong. It's much more of a RUSHED COMPILLATION, with Daz and JT making real short appearences (none of them has more than 1 verse in a song). I can't say that the artists featured are bad, but there's nothing special about them (except San Quinn and Killa Tay of course who actually are VERY talented). Of course Daz and JT's verses are the best thing on the album, but they're hardly felt, because of the bellow-averege rappers featured. If this were a real serious project, it would have Daz producing in (together with JT) and they would rap much more, with only major figures featured on it. I hope Game for Sale is better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Daz & JT, February 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Long Beach 2 Fillmoe (Audio CD)
Obviously, when I first heard about Daz & JT hookin up to do some music together, I thought they wouldn't even compare to the duo of Daz & Kurupt a.k.a. Tha Dogg Pound/DPG , but I was way off. The best from the West & the best from the Bay put it down very well together on "LongBeach 2 Fillmoe." It's got tight beats & great lyrics from this unlikely duo.

There are only a few disappointing things about it:
1) Its 12 tracks make it a very short album.
2) Out of the 12 tracks, Daz & JT are only togther on 7 of them.
3) Out of the 12 tracks, 2 of them do not have Daz or JT.
4) There are too many guest appearances, ranging from Lil C-Style to San Quinn. It's not that they are bad guests, it's just that with such a short album, you are left sort of wanting more. There ain't a single song on this album with just simply Daz & JT alone.
5) Previously released songs. I'm not sure how many have been released before, but I recognized the song "One Nine" within the first 2-3 seconds as the song "One-Nine-99" off Daz's solo "R.A.W." album.

But even with all of these disappointing things, you have to keep in mind that the album still contains some amazing music. I recommend all Daz Dillinger & JT The Bigga Figga fans buy "LongBeach 2 Fillmoe."

Now that I have heard this album & liked it so much, I am lookin forward to buying Daz & JT's 2nd album that they did together titled "Game For Sale." I just hope it's as good as this one.

this album could have been a lot better and it seems as if it were thrown together. you really can't bad mouth jt or daz because they both have talent, but I really have to admitt this wasn't one of jt's best release. No doubt when you see a collaboration like that you automatically assume your going to like it. Tracks 1,4, and 9 in my opinion are the only ones that really stand out and there are only 12 tracks. These two really could have made some noise on the charts if for one the tracks were produced better and two if jt and daz were on more songs together. Expect these two to do it again, but with better oraganazation and production.
